Bring your dog—all breeds are welcome! Enjoy the dog-friendly community mixer, raffle prizes and giveaways, photo opportunities with your pups, and a wine bar ($12 includes a stainless wine glass). Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

The first 25 cars will be reimbursed for park entry—just bring your receipt.

🛡️🚐 MORE RIDES. MORE SUPPORT. MORE SENIORS AND VETERANS SERVED.

Knights of Care is proud to announce that we have received $9,379 in San Joaquin County District 5 funding through the support of Supervisor Robert Rickman and approval of the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors.

The Board approved the funding in June, and on August 14 we had the honor of meeting with Supervisor Rickman and receiving the check alongside the Knights of Care Odyssey.

This funding will help us expand our outreach and strengthen the transportation services we provide to seniors and veterans throughout San Joaquin County.

Supervisor Rickman said it well:

“Transportation can become challenging for our seniors and our aging veterans. It gives me pleasure to support a service dedicated to assisting our aging population tend to daily activities and safely maintain their independence.”

He continued:

“Reliable and trustworthy transportation can help prevent delayed medical care and social isolation, improving the quality of life for our seniors and aging veterans.”

We are sincerely grateful to Supervisor Robert Rickman, Chief of Staff Scott Tyrrell, and the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors for recognizing this need and investing in a local organization that is already out there doing the work.

For Knights of Care, the mission is simple.

We give rides.
We provide support.
We help seniors and veterans remain active and independent.

And when someone needs us, we go to them.

⚜️ 102 RIDES—and We’re Just Getting Started! ⚜️

Today, Knights of Care reached another incredible milestone: 102 rides completed in approximately 111 calendar days—and only 45 working days!

That means we have averaged more than two rides every working day, providing seniors and veterans throughout San Joaquin County with safe, dignified, dependable transportation at absolutely no charge.

These 102 rides represent far more than numbers. They represent medical appointments kept, groceries brought home, prescriptions picked up, veterans supported, and people reminded that they have not been forgotten.

The need is real—and it continues to grow.

Knights of Care depends upon donations and community partnerships to cover fuel, insurance, vehicle maintenance, and the everyday costs of keeping our Fleet of Hope on the road. If you believe our seniors and veterans deserve dependable transportation and compassionate support, please consider making a financial contribution.

Stopped by California Embroidery in Lodi today to work on an upcoming special project for Knights of Care, and I had to take a minute to highlight these amazing hats.

The detail, color, and craftsmanship are outstanding. Patriotic, sharp, and locally done right here in Lodi.

And the good news is, they have plenty of these hats available for the upcoming America 250 and 4th of July celebrations. If you are looking for something festive, patriotic, and eye-catching, these definitely fit the bill.

🚐 A Huge Thank You to Start Charities!

Knights of Care is incredibly grateful to Fresh Start Charities, Chris Johnson, their board, founders, and everyone who helped make this possible for the generous donation of this Honda Odyssey to support our mission.

This is a major milestone for Knights of Care.

This van is not just a vehicle. It is the first vehicle in what we believe will become the Knights of Care Fleet of Hope.

Over the next little bit, we will be doing some work to get it ready for service. Then it will be fully wrapped and dressed as a Knights of Care / Fresh Start Charities vehicle.

Before long, you will see this van rolling through Lodi and San Joaquin County, helping provide safe, reliable transportation for dialysis patients, seniors, and veterans who need rides to medical appointments, essential services, and care.

We thank Fresh Start Charities for believing in Knights of Care, and we look forward to building a strong partnership as we continue to meet those in need throughout San Joaquin County.
