I survived the diapers.
I survived the formula.
I survived the childcare expenses.

I thought I had finally made it through the most expensive years…

And then the universe laughed and gave me a high school goalie. 🧤⚽️

The equipment.
The camps.
The travel.
The tournaments.
The gas.
The food between games.

Apparently, “they get cheaper as they get older” was the biggest budgeting myth of motherhood. 😂

Good thing her mom is a bookkeeper—because this goalie may protect the net, but somebody has to protect the cash flow!

Would I change a thing? Not for a second. Watching her work hard, grow, and fearlessly defend that goal is worth every penny.

September 15, 2026, will be here before we know it! Here are two important tax deadlines business owners should have on their calendars:

• Third estimated tax payment for 2026
This may apply to self-employed individuals and business owners who make quarterly estimated tax payments.

• Extended business tax returns
Calendar-year partnerships filing Form 1065 and S corporations filing Form 1120-S must submit their returns if they filed for an extension.

Now is the time to review your books, catch up on any missing transactions, and make sure your financial records are accurate and ready for your tax professional.

Don’t wait until the deadline is around the corner to discover that something is missing.

Ask yourself:

• Can my business afford the additional monthly expenses?
• Do I have enough cash flow to support the growth?
• Is customer demand consistent—or is this just a busy season?
• Have I reviewed my pricing and profit margins?
• Have I planned for the full cost of the expansion?
• Do I have enough cash reserves if things move more slowly than expected?
• Are my financial reports accurate enough to make this decision confidently?

Expanding at the right time can help move your business forward. Expanding before your finances are ready can create unnecessary pressure on your cash flow—and on you.

Most lenders will review:

• Your credit history
• How long you’ve been in business
• Your revenue and cash flow
• Your current debt
• The accuracy of your financial records

How much you may qualify for will depend on your business’s income, available cash flow, existing obligations, creditworthiness, and the lender’s specific requirements.

You may also be asked to provide:

• Business and personal tax returns
• Bank statements
• Profit and Loss Statement
• Balance Sheet
• Additional financial statements
• A business plan, depending on the loan

This is why keeping your books accurate and up to date matters. Organized financial records can make the application process easier—and help you clearly show lenders the financial health of your business.

Today, we’re celebrating the four-legged coworkers who somehow make every day a little brighter.

Whether they’re snoozing under your desk, insisting it’s time for a walk in the middle of a meeting, or reminding you to take a break, dogs have a way of keeping us grounded.

As business owners, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle. But our pups don’t care about profit and loss statements, overdue invoices, or month-end reconciliations. They just remind us to slow down, enjoy the moment, and appreciate the little things.

Kittatinny Girls Soccer with a 2–1 WIN over Mt. Olive! 💪

To say I’m proud of these girls, both on and off the field, is an understatement.

They work hard. They play hard. Off the field, they are some of the most polite, respectful young ladies you could meet. But once they step onto that field? They are a FORCE! ⚽🔥

With Susan Vernicek-Berkowitz – I just got recognized as Mindset + Achieve’s Top Fan! 🎉

But honestly, being a fan is easy when you truly believe in the person and the work they’re doing and they believe in you more than you believe in yourself sometimes!

Working with Susan and Mindset + Achieve has helped me grow in so many ways, not only as a business owner, but also in my personal life. She has challenged me to shift my mindset, believe in myself, step outside my comfort zone, and keep moving forward even when things feel hard.
