A friend reached out to me while restoring a 1968 classic car because he needed several one of a kind parts that simply weren’t available anywhere. I was happy to help!
Using CAD software, I hand designed each part from scratch and then 3D printed them to fit his project perfectly.
The first part is a custom dash plug that fills the opening where the original key switch used to be.
Just below that is a custom clear panel designed for the air controls, allowing LED lighting to shine through for a clean, modern look.
The other part is a replacement air duct vent that the HVAC hoses connect to.
There’s something really rewarding about helping bring a classic vehicle back to life when replacement parts no longer exist. Projects like this are exactly why I enjoy designing and manufacturing custom parts.
I’m glad Ad’s Plastic Worx could help keep another classic on the road.
