It has been a while since I introduced myself, so I’d like to take this opportunity with the launch of my new logo to update everyone!
•
I have been a clinical registered dental hygienist for over a decade, served as Chair of the Tulsa County Component of OKDHA for 6 terms, ran the state’s social media for about 3 years, served on the Program Advisory Committee for a local dental assisting school, & currently still serve on the PAC/Advisory board for the local dental hygiene program for my 5th term.
•
Running a small business is not new to me- I had 2 previous LLCs, each with a dental hygienist, where I was able to continue learning & expanding my connections.
•
Dentistry has been a part of my life since day one- my Dad graduated from ORU dental school, so the topic of dentistry was almost every dinner conversation, complete with bloody pics he was proud to display of his art for the day. I worked for him every summer & then for 2 years after gaining my BS also from ORU, prior to applying to dental hygiene school.
•
I completed my initial OSHA training in 2023 through OSU & continue to receive updated training annually in Colorado. I also carry my CO license, allowing me to work clinically surrounding the days of the conference & any other visits I make during the year.
•
I have a permanent Monday/Tuesday office in Tulsa where I care for patients clinically, which allows me the flexibility to either temp or teach Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday.
