I guess I should introduce myself since there have been questions about the origins of this group.

HI!👋🏻

I am Tamra Dunlap! I’ve been married for coming up on 16 years and I am mom to 2 boys. I own One Ride Cycle Texas, a hybrid boutique fitness studio south of Tyler in Flint. I have lived in the Tyler area for 10 years. When we moved, I was a stay at home mom and my boys were very young. I had a hard time meeting and making friends. So I created a group similar to this called Mom’s Night Out, where us moms could get one night a month to relax and have dinner together. I wanted to create a safe space to make connections and just relax. We carried this group on for a few years before life getting crazy and shutting it down.

Fast forward to the end of last year, I had several friends mention the old group and ask if I’d ever be interested in bringing it back. So I said “why not?!” But this time I brought it back as Girls’ Night Out, so that all women, children or not, would feel welcome.

I hope to see/meet you at one of our meet ups!
