Life has a way of reminding us we're not invincible. 💙
In just the past year, I've watched friends and family navigate emergency rooms, strokes, serious illnesses, and unexpected crises. Each time, I've seen how having important documents organized, or not having them, can make all the difference.
Remember when life's paperwork was simple? Birth certificates, diplomas, maybe a marriage license in a drawer somewhere. But as we grow, so does the complexity: mortgages, insurance policies, medical records, Powers of Attorney, investment accounts, digital passwords scattered across dozens of platforms.
Here's what I've learned: organizing these details isn't about being pessimistic. It's about love. It's about making sure that when life throws a curve ball, the people who care about us can actually help us, without frantically searching through drawers and email accounts when time is critical.
If you're thinking about this right now, that's the first step. You don't have to do everything at once. Start small. Start today. Create a system while you have the clarity and energy to do it.
Your future self, and everyone who loves you, will be so grateful you did. ✨
