I’ll be giving a workshop on Monday called “The Lost Art of Local Marketing”. This will be through NAMA, but I’ll be giving it again in June through my business coach and colleague Bradley Morris.

This is for you if you feel the weight and burden of trying to attract clients on social media and other digital marketing tactics. For many of the professional professionals and wellness professionals that I speak with, they simply don’t wanna be marketing themselves through digital media and would love to have an alternative.

I’ll be providing in this workshop some of the most effective marketing strategies that center on developing strong human relationships, and enhancing referral marketing strategies.

Well, we have W-9’s, 1040’s, 1099’s…but have you filled out your WD-40 forms yet? Those ones are slippery, so you gotta watch out for those ;-)

Ok, I’ll admit - shouldn’t take this too far!

There isn’t really a WD-40 form, but there are other tax forms that we as business owners need to take care of this time of year.

And bookkeeping provides the foundational data for completing those forms accurately, efficiently and with peace of mind.

The reality is that without proper bookkeeping, filing taxes can be a slippery slope.

Just like we advise our patients and clients to be proactive with their health, I often remind my fellow practitioners and entrepreneur clients that we need to be just as proactive with the health of our businesses.

As an Ayurveda Health Counselor by training, I’m very familiar with the challenges our clients face with lifestyle changes, and I’m also familiar with the challenges we as transformational coaches face in supporting our clients toward optimal health.

The key is approaching the subject with compassion and understanding.

Maintaining financial health is a form of self-care.

Certainly there will be challenges…

Certainly there will be obstacles…

But the path to fulfillment was never guaranteed as a path of ease and comfort.

Actualizing our potential in life (and in business) requires consistent effort - dedication and discipline. But it doesn’t need to be the hard kind. I believe positive habits can be formed from a place of compassion and deep purpose.

What a better way to bring your valuable gifts to the world than through your business (as a practitioner).

And your effectiveness and impact will be closely linked to the vehicle you’re steering - your business!

Your business is the container for the healing you’re delivering to the world!

And it needs to be financially healthy to make the greatest impacts (and provide the greatest fulfillment)...

Fulfillment could be…

…having time and band-width for self-care.

Fulfillment could be…

…traveling abroad to experience beautiful people, beautiful culture, beautiful lands, and learn from some of the best healers in the world.

Fulfillment could be…

…offering a great life and great opportunities for your family and kids.

Fulfillment could be…

…offering a rewarding career (financially and culturally) for your clinic team members who support your mission and work.

Fulfillment could be…

…having time and space to develop your spiritual life.

Fulfillment could be a lot of things…whatever you define it to be.

But having a solid financial foundation to stand on is essential for fulfilling your potential through your work.

Sometimes our own fears of success are the unseen force that holds us back from our dreams and aspirations. Yet when those shadows become visible in our awareness, they tend to disappear on their own, just as the shadow cannot exist when exposed to light.

What comes up for you when you envision your highest dreams of success?

Is there anything in you that feels it’s not possible, or does it feel attainable?

Are there any anxious or fearful thoughts that come up, or do you feel confident that you can achieve your goals?

What sensations do you notice in your body?

What memories come up for you?

Remain present with whatever comes up for you...
..and simply notice…

…and then notice what happens next?
