To Smith’s Automotive Customers,

It's with a heavy heart that we share Smith’s Automotive Services will be closing by July 24th. Founded in 1984, we have built not only a successful business, but we have been privileged to share this with our employees and our amazing customers. This decision did not come lightly. As our community expands, we were given an opportunity to sell our property on Matthews Mint Hill Road. That opportunity will allow us to expand Smith’s Wrecker Service at our other location on Stallings Road. Unfortunately, our Stallings Road location does not have the space currently available to move the automotive service portion of our business, therefore, we made the difficult decision to close that portion of our business.

To our customers and supporters: Thank you. Your belief and trust in us have been the driving force behind every step. We cannot thank you enough for your support throughout the years. We have tried to treat our customers like family and have appreciated getting to know all of your families. Thank you for allowing us to serve you. We're committed to ensuring a smooth transition for any ongoing needs, if there are any records for your vehicles that you would like copies of please email Sheri and she will be happy to send them to you.
