As I’m doing this for a big shop they say put it in. If the customer complains they will file a claim. Yes I’m getting paid but if this was a job through me I would stop and get them new carpet. One thing to consider when choosing who to go with. I’d rather not get paid and wait to put in something not flawed.

Just completed this LVP this evening. Very easy product to work with. Very pleased with how it turned out. This product is over concrete with a 6 mil v***r barrier under it.

Sometimes it’s just easier to replace your carpet. This one was beyond needing a cleaning.

Last couple weeks tearing out tile and hardwood. To installing new plywood to meet up to existing tile in the kitchen. Then finally laying the 5/8x5in engineered wood. A beautiful floor and next week will finish with doing 4 bedrooms of carpet.

When you call and tell them this isn’t going to work. But they want you to do it anyway. Well we did. It didn’t turn out to bad but they didn’t want to spend the money to do it the right way like I do. Walls were over 3/4 of an inch out of plumb.

18”x36” glue down lvt. They wanted white cove base instead of baseboard. Looks better than what I thought. And yes we miter even the cove base where they wanted black under the cabinets. Details make the job. Anyone can slap it in and move onto the next.
