As Red continues the The Great Loop Challenge, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible work he is doing to raise awareness and support for childhood cancer research. During his stop, Tocaro Blue had the opportunity to present Red with a donation to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation in support of that mission.

We’re also proud to have Tocaro Blue’s ProteusCore™ and ApolloCore™ sensor processing software onboard, supporting Red with enhanced perception and situational awareness, paired with his Raymarine Cyclone Radar and Teledyne FLIR Marine M364c camera. Collecting the unique events that occur along journey's like this help to fuel our product development for both unmanned applications, and enhanced awareness for captained vessels.

A big thank you to WKRG for coming out to help welcome Red and share his story with the Pensacola community. Another huge thank you to our friends at Honda Marine and Hefring Marine! Your support helps bring even more awareness to this important cause.

Thank you, Red, for turning an incredible maritime challenge into an opportunity to make a difference. We’re proud to support the mission both on and off the water.

ApolloCore™ is a developer toolset and perception software that enhances the capabilities of marine PTZ cameras, enabling developers to use those sensors in autonomous navigation and ISR mission automation workflows.

Tocaro Blue builds a custom executable application so you can run ApolloCore directly on your GPU enabled hardware. ApolloCore uses vessel IMU data to offer enhanced stabilization for PTZ cameras in real time, compensating for vessel motion without additional hardware. The result is high-performance detection, classification, and tracking from commercial off the shelf sensors.

We’re excited to support high-quality sensors like the M364C from Teledyne FLIR , with compatibility that’s proven through rigorous testing in real-world maritime environments. We appreciate the continued support from our friends at Raymarine!

Nothing validates technology like putting it on the water.

We're excited to see our friends at Defense putting the ProteusCore™ Devkit through its paces during their ongoing sea trials. Thank you to and the entire Janus Defense team for taking the time to share your experience. We look forward to supporting the remainder of your sea trials and learning from the insights gathered on the water.

The faster innovative teams can evaluate new technology, the faster we can collectively advance safer, smarter maritime operations.

Behind every great machine learning model is a team willing to go the extra mile.

As tropical storm Bertha approached the Gulf Coast, our engineers were swapping out equipment to sea-trial multiple Radars and PTZ Cameras on our test vessel to capture valuable real-world data before the weather rolled in.

Why? Because better data builds smarter machine learning. And smarter machine learning delivers better maritime situational awareness that ultimately saves lives at sea.

A big thank you to our engineering and test teams for their dedication. Your work behind the scenes is what makes it all possible.

One of our PTZ cameras running ApolloCore™ captured a great clip of the Blue Angels over Pensacola Bay last week.

While the Blue Angels put on an incredible show overhead, the bay below was just as active, with recreational boaters, commercial traffic, and other vessels moving throughout the waterway. It's exactly the kind of real-world environment that helps us collect diverse datasets and continue improving maritime perception.

Every hour on the water gives our machine learning models new scenarios to learn from, helping build more capable situational awareness for the next generation of autonomous and crewed maritime systems.

Not a bad office view, either.

Seeing the Blue Angels fly overhead while our team is out on the water collecting data is a special sight.

It's fitting. Precision, preparation, and continuous training are what make every demonstration possible. The same mindset applies to building reliable maritime perception software. Every hour we spend collecting real-world data helps train and validate the machine learning models behind ProteusCore™ and ApolloCore™, ensuring autonomous systems and mariners have better situational awareness when it matters most.

We're proud to call Pensacola home and grateful for moments like these that remind us why real-world testing is so important.

Modern maritime operations require more than PZT Cameras. They need perception.

ApolloCore™ is a software platform that interprets the output of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) EO/IR PTZ cameras to produce maritime perception and situational awareness. ApolloCore works with the data camera sensors already generate, applying machine learning to deliver mechanical and software-based image stabilization, object detection, tracking, range estimation, and multi-sensor data fusion.

When paired with ProteusCore™ Radar Processing, it delivers a unified perception layer built for autonomous and defense maritime platforms.

The fireworks may be over, but the mission continues.

As we return from celebrating the 250th Anniversary of our nation's independence, it's a reminder of what we're working to protect every day: the freedom and security that so many have fought to preserve. To the service members, first responders, and innovators who continue to safeguard our nation and its waterways, thank you for your dedication and sacrifice.

Oceans and waterways are still the domain that we know the least about. Our team is back on the water this week, collecting data, supporting clients, and working to advance maritime perception.

The celebration may be over, but our commitment to safer seas and stronger maritime awareness continues every day.

We’re excited to announce our collaboration with Furuno Marine Electronics to advance Radar-based perception for autonomous marine systems.

By combining Furuno’s trusted marine Radar technology with Tocaro Blue’s AI-powered ProteusCore™ perception software, we’re delivering intelligent maritime awareness for autonomous and semi-autonomous vessels.

Radar remains one of the most critical sensors for marine operations because of its reliability in harsh weather and long-range performance. Through machine learning, ProteusCore™ enhances Radar data into actionable perception outputs that support safer navigation, collision avoidance, and advanced situational awareness.
