# # NOW HIRING — LABORER / SAWMILL HAND

We are looking for a **dependable, hardworking person** to join our portable sawmill crew.

# # # Job Duties

* Stacking and handling lumber
* Removing lumber from the sawmill as it's cut
* Operating chainsaws
* Assisting with small land-clearing jobs from time to time
* General job-site labor and cleanup

# # # What to Expect

Most of our work is performed **on-site at customers' properties**, typically within **2 hours of home**. We occasionally travel farther and stay overnight for certain jobs.

This is a **part-time position**, and hours may vary from week to week depending on our workload and the size of each job.

# # # Requirements

* Must be **drug-free**
* Must have a **valid driver's license**
* Must be dependable and show up ready to work
* Must be able to listen, follow directions, and understand the work that needs to be completed
* Must be comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labor
* Experience with chainsaws or equipment is a plus, but a **good attitude and willingness to learn** are important

# # # PAY STARTS AT $21/HOUR

Customer wanted to remove roughly 70 trees for more pasture and we have almost got them taken care of.

Some beautiful walnut we just milled and have available
Selling all of it for $7500

There's 2000 board ft there

So $3.75 a ft if someone buys all.

Slabs by there self $5.25 a bf.
5/4 few 8/4 and rest 10/4
Kiln drying can be arranged for $3 a board ft additionally.
Wood must be paid in full before drying. Kiln drying paid separately
