While our program honors Pasefika culture, we are open and inclusive to ALL youth from ALL cultural backgrounds! We welcome referrals from Community, ASD, & State partners.

💻 Virtual Classes: Specifically designed to reach Samoan children in Rural Alaska to ensure cultural access no matter the location!

🙏 Fa’afetai tele lava (Sincere Appreciation in Samoan) Alaska Humanities Forum Leadership Anchorage! 🎉

🙌 We are proud to announce that our project has been selected for one of the most prestigious opportunities in Anchorage!

👏 Out of an incredibly competitive field of 26 proposals, our submission was chosen as one of only eight to present to the esteemed Leadership Anchorage Cohort. This is a truly remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work of our entire team and community. 🏆

🌟 This victory is also a shared one! We want to give a special, heartfelt shout-out to our incredible partners at Pasefika Roots Institute of Language & Cultural Arts 🙏 Although their project was not selected this year, they are an absolutely vital part of our winning Restorative Justice Cultural Project Submission. We are so proud to be working alongside them to bring this impactful vision to life.

📣 We are bursting with pride to announce that the Unutoa-Tuioti Brothers, J.R. and Birdie, have been awarded the North Star Youth Scholarship Awards! Because of their hard work and dedication, a $1,400.00 Full Scholarship Payment has been applied directly to our Pasefika Afterschool & Afterwork Program Cycle 1. 🥳

🌟 This powerful act of leadership, combined with the support from the Pasefika Roots Aiga and amazing donors, has pushed our total to a phenomenal $3,620 towards our $5,000 goal! That's an astonishing 73% of the way there! 🎉

🎉 We are absolutely thrilled and profoundly grateful to announce a historic milestone! We've been awarded our very first grant from the Alaska Children's Trust (ACT). This is a testament to the power of our community and a significant step forward for our mission.

🤗 This funding will directly support the Pasefika Youth Development Summit—a first-of-its-kind event in Alaska. On Saturday, October 18, 2025, we will host the first of four full-day sessions designed to empower and mentor our youth. 🚀
