Yesterday some of the AMCAST team went to Washington, D.C. for NSSGA's Hill Day to meet with Senator Andy Kim of NJ.
They got to meet about important industry topics like infrastructure bills, work zone safety and increasing recycled asphalt in NJ. It has always been important to AMCAST to not only be on the forefront of the industry today, but also consistently looking to the future.

Each batch of F60 low-chrome martensitic steel is sampled during pouring and subjected to quality control testing to verify hardness, consistency, and metallurgical integrity. This ensures the alloy chemistry and subsequent heat treatment align with the performance demands of high-impact crushing applications.

After seeing the results AMCAST crusher steel is delivering at one of their plants, a new customer invited our team to visit another site, meet the personnel, and learn more about their operation.

The site is processing the same material, creating a great opportunity to bring that same proven performance to another plant.

While on site, the team also identified an opportunity to improve loader tooth wear. The customer is changing teeth far too often, so AMCAST brought a worn tooth back for analysis. By comparing the wear pattern to a new tooth, we can identify high-wear areas and help determine the right solution.

Better wear life means less downtime.
