Vegas, you were a good time! 🌅

IDS 2026 was filled with inspiring speakers, amazing fellow designers, and so many fresh ideas I’m bringing home to my Willamette Valley clients!

Learning never stops when you’re passionate about what you do!

The second day of the IDS conference was wonderful! I always enjoy going to the World Market Center. We got personalized tours of a few showrooms and I was able to look for product for clients while I was there! So fun!

The highlight of the conference so far has been our keynote Roger Thomas, who is the lead designer for the Wynn Resorts over the last 40 years. Wow did he have stories!! So good! following the keynote was an awesome welcome reception on the patio of the hotel overlooking the pool. They even had ping-pong tournament on quartz slabs going on!

Our first day of the IDS conference was casual and we could explore on our own. Here’s my photo dump!

👉🏻Real talk: the room that felt perfect 10 years ago probably isn’t you anymore. And that’s okay! We change. Our homes should too!

🌱Here’s the thing people don’t always realize: your body actually responds to a well put-together room. It’s called neuro-aesthetics, basically, a space that’s curated and intentional can calm your nervous system, while a room that feels “off” (even if you can’t say why) keeps you a little on edge without you realizing it.

That’s why I’m such a believer in a whole-room edit: paint, drapery, rug, furniture, and lighting, all reworked together.

Because when it’s done right, it doesn’t just look good. It feels like who you are right now, and your whole body can feel the difference! 🥰
