On Saturday, October 17, 2026, Coastal Care Solutions will be participating in their 7th annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s - Greater Portland. We will be joined by Happy at Home Seniors as we walk together to raise funds and awareness to advance the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

Team Coastal Cares will be walking in honor and support of our CCS clients, families, care team members, and all those effected by Alzheimer's and the dementias.

This National Senior Citizens Day we celebrate the wisdom and experience of older adults! ❤️🎉🙌🏽

In 1988, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed August 21st as a day to recognize the older adults in our lives and honor senior citizens across our nation.

“For all they have achieved throughout life and for all they continue to accomplish, we owe older citizens our thanks and a heartfelt salute. We can best demonstrate our gratitude and esteem by making sure that our communities are good places in which to mature and grow older; places in which older people can participate to the fullest and can find the encouragement, acceptance, assistance, and services they need to continue to lead lives of independence and dignity.”
