Wexford County Council On Aging The WCCOA works to enhance the wellness and empowers our seniors to be a vital part of the community. The agency is governed by a 15 member Board.

Wexford County Council on Aging (COA) is a local nonprofit 501©3 agency, serving seniors age 60 and older and disabled adults throughout Wexford County, Michigan. Many of our services are subsidized (cost share) through the Wexford County Senior Millage to help lower the actual cost of our homemaking, personal care, in-home respite, DayBreak Adult Day Services and snow removal (pre-paid vouchers f

or snow removal) for those that are 60 years old and older. Other sources of funding come from Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Michigan, Northern Health Care Management, United Way of Wexford County, Office of Services to the Aging (OSA), Department of Human Services, donations and private contributions. "Our mission is to collaboratively provide, manage, and source an integrated system of health and human services for Wexford County seniors and disabled adults with chronic illness or disability."

Healthy Feet Matter 👣
For many older adults, routine foot care can be an important part of staying healthy, active, and independent.
Wexford COA offers foot care services both in our office and in clients' homes for just $25 per visit.
While this is not a pedicure service, regular foot care can help identify concerns early and improve comfort and mobility.
❤️ A special thank you to Kitty, who has been providing this valued service for older adults throughout Wexford County for many years.
Appointments are required. Payment is due at the time of service.

💙 You don't have to figure it out alone. Your local SHIP program provides unbiased, personalized Medicare counseling and can help you compare plans, understand enrollment periods, and avoid costly mistakes.

Start reviewing your options now so you're prepared when Open Enrollment arrives.
