Did you know?
Transmission acts much like a highway system for electricity—moving power from where it's generated to where it's needed.
ITC's work covers:
⚡ 16,000+ circuit miles of transmission lines help connect the grid.
⚡ 700+ stations and substations support the transmission network.
⚡ 147,000+ transmission structures help keep electricity moving across our system.
We’re keeping America’s energy infrastructure resilient for today and prepared for tomorrow.

For years, ITC Midwest employees have come together to support Iowa veterans through a partnership with the Iowa Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America (IPVA). Thanks to employee fundraising and a company match, two Iowa veterans, Marshall Dorman and Justin Wolfe, recently received recreational all-terrain electric track chairs.

The donations, which mark the 10th and 11th track chairs awarded through the program, helping provide greater mobility and independence for veterans.

We're proud to support those who have served our country and grateful to our employees whose generosity continues to make a meaningful difference. Thank you to Marshall, Justin and all veterans for your service and sacrifice.

We're proud to continue honoring the legacy of former ITC Midwest employee and North Dakota State University alum Jim Spicer through the Jim Spicer Memorial Scholarship.

Among his many contributions to ITC Midwest, Jim took special pride in mentoring interns and engineers early in their careers. Established by ITC and the Spicer family, the scholarship fund honors his legacy by helping make it possible for future engineers attending his alma mater, North Dakota State University , to pursue careers in the industry.

Congratulations to this year's recipient, Gideon Blazek, a civil engineering major at NDSU, pursuing a career in structural engineering . We are proud to support students like Gideon as they prepare to become the next generation of engineering professionals.
