Marketing on a tight budget? You're not alone, and you don't need a big spend to see real results.

Our latest blog post walks through five simple tool categories that help small business owners market consistently without breaking the bank: brainstorming ideas, creating content, designing graphics, scheduling posts, and automating the repetitive stuff.

Reach gets attention. Relationships get referrals.

It's easy to get pulled into the numbers game on social media. You post something, check back an hour later, and start wondering why the likes aren't stacking up the way some "expert" said they would.

But reach was never the goal. Relationships are.

Without real connection, your customers become transactions. A sale here, a sale there, nothing that sticks. When you invest time in actually knowing the people you serve, something different happens. They come back. They tell their friends. They leave the kind of review that does more for your business than any algorithm ever could.

This is the heart of the Visibility Triangle: visibility opens the door, but credibility and connection are what get you hired and keep you hired. Reach without trust is just noise.

So the next time you're tempted to obsess over your numbers, pause. Ask yourself who actually showed up today, and how you can make them feel seen. That's the metric that compounds.

Your business isn't built on impressions. It's built on people.

How do you stay grounded when the numbers don't match the effort you're putting in?

Still riding the high from NSA Influence 2026 in Austin. 🎤WOW, such an energy booster! Better than a b12 shot!

As President of NSA Austin, getting to spend this week with our members and the broader NSA community reminded me all over again why I love this organization.

Huge gratitude to our NSA Austin members who showed up to help host our hospitality suite and the dine arounds, you turned a hotel room and a few dinner reservations into the place everyone wanted to be. That's chapter spirit right there. A special thank you to Dori, our President Elect, whose hard work behind the scenes made both happen flawlessly.

I also have to shout out Kricket Harrison and the Power Women of NSA. Kricket and PW are a big part of why I'm as involved as I am at the national level, and I was proud that NSA Austin got to help host the PW Jewelry Party this year! Watching that room fill up with laughter (and a whole lot of beads and baubles) was awesome.

One little-known moment that was just perfect was running into Rita Auerbach from Bags of Grace. Rita was there as part of the Youth Leadership Conference and their service project. Getting to link YLC with an organization doing incredible work in Austin was really an honor for me.

And this: Sterling, who'd only just learned about NSA and NSA Austin, came to our Soiree a few weeks before Influence, and felt so motivated that he committed to a day pass for Saturday at Influence. I just love how a random moment turned into helping another speaker excel.

To everyone I got to hug, catch up with, or meet for the first time this week - thank you. This community never stops giving.

What do you do when Google Business Profile gaslights you?!

Panic scroll moment: I logged into my Google Business Profile this week and it told me "You have no reviews yet." Then it told me I had reviews with no replies! 😳

Five stars. Sixteen reviews. Right there at the top. And the reply section acted like none of it existed.

Turns out it's not just me. Google's got a dashboard glitch going around right now that's hiding reviews from business owners (but NOT from your customers; your real reviews are still totally visible on Search and Maps). Google says they're fixing it.

If this happens to you: don't panic, don't re-reply to old reviews, and just give it a few days. 🙌

Full scoop is on the blog if you want to know exactly what's going on 👉 https://santoshasolutions.com/your-google-reviews-arent-missing-google-is-for-now/

Stop coming up with (or not coming up with) content in the moment. There is an easier way!

So many times when people talk about "batch content," they are talking about creating quotes or "interesting day" posts. Batch content can be so much more!

Imagine taking your core business concepts and using an AI tool to generate a month's worth of content.

Worried it won't sound like you? Two tips:
Use the suggested content as a GUIDE and write your in your own words.
Or, include in the prompt additional things you have written and ask the AI Tool to mimic your style.

Here is the prompt:
Act as a marketing content manager and social media strategist. Based on my four main topics/speaking points (listed below), create a four-week social media content calendar with two posts per week (8 total posts). Rotate the topics so each appears twice during the month.

Write complete social media posts, not outlines or ideas. Each post should:

Be written for potential clients rather than peers.
Be educational, engaging, and helpful.
Naturally demonstrate my expertise without sounding overly promotional.
End with a question or call to action that encourages comments or engagement.
Be approximately 150 to 250 words.

Assign each post to one of the three parts of the Visibility Triangle:
Visibility
Credibility
Getting Hired

Balance the posts across all three categories over the month.

Use a variety of content styles throughout the calendar, including quick tips, stories, myths vs. facts, mistakes to avoid, behind-the-scenes insights, FAQs, checklists, examples, and opinion pieces. Avoid repeating the same style in consecutive posts.

Present everything in a table with the following columns:

Week Topic Visibility Triangle Post Content Suggested Image/Graphic CTA

The "Post Content" column should contain the complete, ready-to-publish post.

The "Suggested Image/Graphic" column should describe a simple photo, graphic, carousel, or short video that complements the post.

The CTA should be a single sentence that encourages readers to comment, save, share, or contact me.

My four main topics are:
1.
2.
3.
4.

Can people reading your content tell what you do and what a client can expect from you?

There is too much content noise out there. Don't get lost in the chaos of cowboy content. Your content should align with your business goals and talking points.

Ask yourself: Does this reinforce what I want to be known for? If not, it might be worth cutting instead of adding.

What's the one topic you most want to be known for right now?

I didn't start out as a marketing coach.

I started as a yoga studio owner with a passion for hot yoga and a business mindset. I poured everything I knew into building a successful studio.

What I didn't expect was how lonely owning a business could be.

When you're a solopreneur, every decision lands on your shoulders. You're constantly wondering if you're spending your time on the right things. You read one article that says to post every day, another that tells you to focus on email, and someone else insists video is the only way to grow.

It's easy to get caught up in what you think you should be doing instead of what actually moves your business forward.

After I closed my studio, friends who owned studios started asking for help. I'd share ideas, help them think through marketing challenges, and eventually, I began managing social media for yoga studios.

Before I knew it, I wasn't just helping yoga studios anymore. I was helping small business owners who all had something in common. They were unclear on what they should be saying about their business, and their marketing wasn't connecting with their clients. They didn't need more marketing tactics. They needed clarity. They needed someone to help them organize their thoughts, define their message, and build genuine relationships with the people they wanted to serve.

I don't coach because I have a perfect formula. I coach because I remember what it felt like to sit alone wondering if I was making the right decisions.

No business owner should have to figure it all out by themselves.
