The NHSC Girls fought with heart until the very end, battling for the 3rd-place spot at AIHEC.
They led the game but lost in the last two minutes, with the final score being NHSC 78 vs TMCC 79.
Despite the tough loss, we are so proud of the GRIT shown by the Storm Ladies ⚡️⛈️⚡️.
They represented Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College 🏀 with honor and gave 100% while on the 🏀 court!

🌨 ❄️ Snow is the forecast ❄️ 🌨

Take a look at the forecast for next week, which includes Thanksgiving. Temperatures drop after a system moves through Monday night through Tuesday, bringing accumulating snow to the area. Wednesday and Thursday look good travel-wise before more chances for snow and continued cold to end the week.

-Strong Clipper Wednesday-Friday-

A strong clipper is expected to bring light to moderate snowfall accumulations to a large portion of the region, with the highest impacts expected Thursday and Friday. As of now, the highest totals will be north of I90 where impactful accumulations (2-3"+) are increasingly likely. Travel will be impacted, with the most significant travel impacts the farther north you go.

There is some uncertainty on the exact track and intensity of the surface low, which will affect the overall accumulations and the exact placement of heavier snow. A narrow area of heavy accumulations is possible, but details on that won't get clear until Tuesday or even Wednesday. The first snowfall forecast will be posted tomorrow (Monday) evening.

-Large Winter Storm March 23-26th-

Confidence is unusually high that a large winter storm to affect a large portion of the region starting six days from now and lasting for multiple days after. Operational and ensemble guidance continues to show a strong surface low to eject somewhere out of Colorado into the region. A northerly track will keep the heaviest snow north of I90, but a southerly track will bring the heaviest snow down to I80. This system will have a broad plume of moisture, so a farther south track will still have accumulations well north of I90.

What we know:
-Plenty of cold air will be in place.
-There is a lot of moisture to work with.
-This will be a long-lasting system.
-Significant travel impacts are possible.

What we don't know:
-The exact timing.
-The exact track of the surface low.
-Where the heaviest snow will fall.
-Exact accumulations are highly unknown.

Details will become clearer through the week and we will have daily updates as this system has the potential to be significant and large.
