Did you miss the first session of Palate Clinic last week? Wednesday is your last chance!

Each month will cover a new topic to educate you on your cigar journey. Reserve your spot by calling the lounge or stopping by before 5PM the day of the class. Class begins at 6:30PM.

Your entry fee of $25 covers two ci**rs, an evening of instruction from our owner & resident tobacconist Gray Hogan, as well as an educational handout. After you finish all five classes, you will receive a certificate of completion and bragging rights for life.

Be sure to get to Williamsport this weekend! Rosko's Brew House, Bullfrog Brewery and The Brickyard Restaurant and Ale House are all having their events celebrating many different things including Roskoberfest, 30th anniversary, and Octoberfest!

Lettuce tell you a little about a local greenhouse that specializes in Hydroponics! Ben and Joan Berger of Berger's Greenhouse took us on a tour of their hydroponic lettuce areas, and told us a little bit more about the process, where we can get their lettuce, and also about their involvement in the chamber!

Berger's Greenhouse has been a member of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce for over 21 years. In that time, the Chamber connected them with UPMC to grow a relationship supplying the hospital with their lettuce. Other area businesses such as Basil Wood Fired Kitchen and Lounge and John Ryan Brewery offer Berger's lettuce on their menu!

Ben and Joan also set up at the Williamsport Grower's Market, and sell to other local businesses.

Check them out, and be sure to try their lettuce! You won't be sorry!

If you see Francis and Karen this week, congratulate them on 40 years of helping to finely dress our community.

On Monday, September 15, 1986, we opened our doors here at The Clothier for our first day of business . Francis sold one suit that day and continues selling suits and more 40 years later! Our thanks to all of you!

Join PA State Rep. Jamie Flick for an E-Recycle Event and give your old electronics a second life—or at least a responsible retirement.

I invite you to join me for an e-recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 3, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at my district office located at 1000 Commerce Park Drive, Williamsport.

I’m working with Mamoth to host the event. As you can see by the flyer, some items you are able to recycle for free, while others require a small fee.
