Congratulations to Phil Broder, who won our February slam. The theme was Missed Connections.

He won an exclusive York Story Slam-branded journal from our friends at Story Supply Co. and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November. Phil (right) is pictured here with this month’s MC and 2024 Grand Slam champ, Tim McGuinness.

Story Supply will be hanging about on the third floor of to day for the Odd One’s Holiday Bizarre. I made up these 3”x3” Mini Plot ornaments that will be on sale! Fill them with memories every year or find surprising messages from mischievous elves and uncle Rick. If you can’t make it I’ll be adding them online this week.

Congratulations to Swapna Deshpande, who won our April story slam with her story about a patient she worked with through the course of his degenerative illness.

The theme was My Better Half and we heard stories about meeting future spouses, helping each other through difficult times, and even one about sharing clothing with a partner of similar stature.

Swapna won an exclusive York Story Slam-branded journal from our friends at Story Supply Co. and earned a spot in our Grand Slam in November. Swapna (right) is pictured here with this month’s emcee, York Story Slam producer JJ Sheffer.
