Introducing NT119S and NT219S subwoofers: a new standard in large-format and low-frequency performance.

EAW is expanding the Newport Series further with two 19-inch active subwoofers and an enhanced OAA system design tool. “Low-frequency performance is foundational to the modern live experience,” says Geoff McKinnon, Senior Director of Engineering at Eastern Acoustic Works. “The NT119S, NT219S and corresponding OAA update enable us to provide our customers with the power, extension and control they need, minus the complexity or cost typically associated with this level of output.”

NTX210L, the original member of the Newport Series, incorporates OptiLogic, which allows the enclosures to directly communicate with each other. No network required. As a result, each enclosure is aware of its angle and position in the array. Using this information, they can automatically optimize low-frequency coupling.

To optimize high-frequency shading, users can input the trim height and the start and stop coverage using the menu on the back panel. With OptiLogic, you’re getting venue-optimized sound in seconds, no matter who’s rigging the system.
