We spend thousands on technology.

But almost nobody talks about what happens when we’re done with it.

Responsible electronics recycling isn’t just about getting rid of clutter.

It’s about protecting resources, reducing waste, and making sure devices are handled the right way.

Every old device has a story.

Let’s make sure it has a responsible ending.

Your old electronics may look harmless sitting on a shelf.

But electronics are made from dozens of different materials—including metals, plastics, and components that should be handled responsibly at the end of their life.

Responsible recycling helps recover valuable resources while reducing unnecessary waste.
That old laptop.

That broken tablet.

That outdated desktop.

They all deserve better than the trash.

That’s why Mamoth exists.

Most of us never think twice about what happens after we replace a phone, laptop, or tablet.

The truth is, electronics don’t automatically get recycled.

Their next destination depends on the choices we make once they’re no longer in use.

When retired technology is handled responsibly, valuable materials can often be recovered and kept in circulation instead of being lost.

That’s why choosing a trusted electronics recycler matters.

Every device has a story. Make sure yours ends the right way.

♻️ Don’t assume your old tech will be recycled—take the extra step to make it happen.

What happens after you’re done with your electronics?

For every 10 devices that reach the end of their life, fewer than 3 are formally recycled worldwide. That means millions of phones, laptops, tablets, and other electronics miss the opportunity to have their valuable materials recovered through responsible recycling.

E-waste isn’t just a global issue—it’s a personal one. Every device you choose to recycle responsibly helps support a more sustainable future.

♻️ Before you throw it away, think twice. Your old tech still has value.

Another successful community recycling event in the books. ♻️

This past weekend, we teamed up with Rep. Kyle Donahue at Scranton High School to help community members responsibly recycle their unwanted electronics.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and helped give retired technology a responsible next step. We appreciate the opportunity to serve the Scranton community and look forward to seeing you at the next event.

Every electronic device has two environmental moments.

The first happens before you ever open the box: materials are extracted, processed, manufactured, and shipped.
The second happens when you are done with it.

If the device is wasted or mishandled, the planet pays again through pollution risk and lost materials. But if old electronics are recovered responsibly, we can reduce waste and keep more value in circulation.

E-waste is what happens when the end of a product is ignored.

It is time to stop making the planet pay twice.

💰 You’re throwing away more than old electronics.

Inside your phone, laptop, and other devices are valuable materials like gold, silver, and copper.

When electronics aren’t responsibly recycled, those resources can be lost instead of recovered and put back into use.

As technology continues to evolve, so does the importance of giving our old devices a responsible second life.

Before you toss that outdated phone or broken laptop, remember: it may be worth more than you think—not just in dollars, but in the impact it can have on our environment.

♻️ Recycle smarter. Protect valuable resources. Make your old tech count.

The world’s fastest-growing waste crisis isn’t plastic.

It’s electronics.

In 2022, the world generated 62 million metric tons of e-waste, yet only 22.3% was formally collected and recycled.

Every old phone, laptop, charger, and tablet has the potential for a more responsible end-of-life.

The choices we make today can help recover valuable materials, reduce waste, and keep electronics out of the wrong places.

Your next upgrade doesn’t have to become tomorrow’s environmental problem.

♻️ Choose to recycle responsibly.
