First things first: You do NOT need to feed us. 😂

We show up to your home fully prepared with our own water, drinks, lunch, tools, and everything else we need to get the job done. We’re contractors, not houseguests.

That said… a couple clients have happened to leave us cookies etc., and it would be downright rude to turn them down!

Will treats make us work slower? Absolutely not.
Will they improve morale? Almost certainly.
Will we remember your house the next time we’re scheduling jobs? Funny you should ask. 👀🍪😆

We’re just saying the guys have excellent memories when snacks are involved.

No refreshments required. Treats accepted if we *must*. Repeat business highly encouraged. 😂

We went to Menards for some project materials…

…and apparently this guy was there to make sure his owner didn’t forget the most important items on their list. 😂🐾

We’re not entirely sure what his job title is, but based on the posture, we’re guessing:

🔨 Project Manager
📋 Quality Control
🐕 Safety Supervisor
📦 Material Inspector
🚚 Head of Transportation

He clearly takes his responsibilities VERY seriously.

Some dogs chase tennis balls. This one rides home on heavy-duty shelving. 😂

10/10 would hire. Probably expects payment in treats. 🐾

☀️ A patio is great… until the afternoon sun makes it impossible to enjoy.

These homeowners had a beautiful west-facing back patio, but when the sun hit in the afternoon, the direct heat made the space nearly unusable.

Our solution? A covered porch addition that gives them the shade and protection they needed to actually enjoy their outdoor space. Now they have a comfortable place to sit, relax, entertain, and spend time outside—even when that afternoon sun is doing its best to take over. 😎

It’s amazing what a little thoughtful design can do for a space you already have.

When the stain color on the sample swatch says one thing… and the actual deck says, “SURPRISE!” 😂

Well… that escalated quickly.

We stained this deck expecting a certain color based on the manufacturer's stain sample swatch. And let’s just say… the deck had other plans. 🤦‍♂️ You'll see half way through this project, the two-toned deck was not cutting it for any of us.

Different wood. Different lighting. Different absorption. Apparently, the sample swatch was feeling a little creative that day. 😂

But here’s the thing: if we’re not happy with the finished product, we’re not going to ask our customer to be happy with it either.
So… oops. That repair’s on us. We obviously provided the materials and hours to stain everything to match.

We’ll get it corrected and make it right. Because at Tipton Home Services, “no surprises” means even when the stain surprises us, we own it. 💪

Sometimes, the little quirks about your home become so familiar that you stop noticing them.

That awkward driveway that’s just a little too narrow.
