A fresh look, and plenty to see.

Christina Conant Design has launched a new website, offering a deeper look at the Chicago North Shore firm’s growing portfolio and its warm, personal approach to creating homes for the way people really live.

Case in point: this Greenwood Village, Colorado, kitchen, reimagined for a growing family that loves to cook. Traditional character, natural materials and thoughtful function come together in a space designed as much for everyday life as a house full of family and friends.

It’s just one of the projects now featured on the new site, with much more from Christina and her team to come. And we can’t wait to share it with you.

DESIGN IS AT ITS MOST POWERFUL WHEN IT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER: On July 22, The Cypress Group was proud to collaborate with our friends at ABC Worldwide Stone and design-driven HBF Textiles to bring designer Mark Grattan and “The Weight of It” to Chicago for a special evening at Soho House.

Closing out the Design Leadership Network Community Days, the evening brought together Chicago’s design community for a screening of the film, conversation, and connection. Alongside the Design Leadership Network and LUXE Interiors + Design; we celebrated Mark’s creative perspective and the people, ideas, and stories that continue to shape our industry.

A fitting close to an inspiring few days, and a reminder of what makes this design community so special: great work, fresh perspectives, and even better company.

Materiality, texture, and a connection to the natural world take center stage in the inaugural installment of Kravet’s Dwelling Well series, featuring, Hayward Design House.

Through a series of thoughtfully composed concept boards, Susan Hayward and Jillian Hayward Schaible explore the principles of layering natural materials, organic textures, and considered finishes to create interiors that foster a deeper connection to nature. Their perspective illustrates how biophilia can inform spaces that feel at once elevated, restorative, and enduring.

A fresh take on the ultimate summer retreat. Angeline & Co. Vinyl & Verde” is a bold, personality-filled pool house designed for effortless entertaining.

Created in collaboration with B Mor Development Group, Pure Design, and Midtown Architects, the 1,200-square-foot space blends mid-century influences with rich materials, vibrant color, and thoughtful details. From relaxed afternoons by the pool to evenings filled with music, cocktails, and conversation, every element was designed to bring people together.

We’re proud to celebrate the talented team behind this incredible project and all of the collaborators who helped bring Vinyl & Verde to life.

Beyond excited to see Angeline & Co. featured in the current issue of D Home with this amazing family home—one of our favorite projects. Nestled within the rolling Texas landscape, this modern ranch house blends contemporary architecture with timeless ranch-inspired design, while the interiors are filled with personalized touches and thoughtful details created for elevated everyday living. The stone-clad exterior and metal roofing pay homage to tradition, while expansive windows and thoughtfully designed outdoor living spaces create a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. The result is a home that feels both welcoming and refined, balancing heritage with a modern perspective. A lot of people poured their time and talent into this home, making this feature especially meaningful. We’re thrilled for the entire Angeline & Co team and grateful to D Home for telling the story so beautifully.
