2HP40 would have been a 2nd pick for many people because of her subpar coloring. I mean, look at that barring on her legsšŸ¤® But rabbit breeding is like chess in a way. I absolutely adore the depth and firmness of flesh on her. The fur may not be the right color, but the texture and density is nearly spot on.

A common trend in my pals is to have excellent width, but less then desirable depth. So when I have a doe with depth, I need her, despite her width not being where I want it. Thatā€™s something many people are striving for! Having good width and depth simultaneously!

People ask me all the time what I do with all my baby culls. Wellā€¦ hereā€™s part 1 of 6 hungry snakes lol. Itā€™s especially nice when it times out where I donā€™t have to thaw any. This baby in particular has been growing a very prominent white spot on the tip of the tail. No room for DQs in this barnšŸ’Ŗ

Went to the Piketon show today and am very happy with how everyone did! Tori Oehlers was even able to come up and hang for the dayšŸ˜

OMRPA Show:
2HN30- 1st of 15 stewers
2HN31- 3rd of 15 stewers
2HN36- 9th of 24 roasters

Harry Rice Commercial Show:
2HN30- 2nd of 10 stewers
2HN31- 1st of 10 stewers

I also brought a pair of palominos even though I was the only one. 2HP16 won over my jr doe 2HP40 both shows. She has a very promising body, but her fur just isnā€™t quite there yet.
