In court today, Utica resident Fabian Troutman was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison for criminally negligent homicide after failing to seek medical help for his severely injured 6 year old son, according to the District Attorney’s Office. Prosecutors say it remains unclear how the child sustained the extensive injuries to his head, back, stomach, arms, and legs that led to his death shortly afterward.
