It is now armyworm season! Worms can cause destruction very quickly. A few things to look for:

1. If you notice an abnormal amount of birds in your yard
2. Irregular shaped brown areas of grass
3. A lot of moths fly up when you walk through the lawn.
4. Portion of your lawn look mowed while others areas do not.

If you notice any of these 4 signs, please call us asap and we will come out to inspect your lawn for this damaging pest. 229-300-8086

So, what does a typical day look like for the wife of a small-business owner?

Well… there really isn’t a “typical” day! 😂

During the school year, most days involve a whole lot of driving, carpooling, and shuffling our four kids from one place to the next. Between school, activities, appointments, and everything in between, my car sometimes feels like my second home! 🚗

When I’m not busy being Mom, I help behind the scenes with South Georgia Turf Management as much as I can. A lot of what I do happens behind the curtain — helping with back-office tasks, running errands, figuring things out, and occasionally even answering the phones when Amy is off. ☎️

What do you enjoy most about your job?

One of my favorite roles is probably being Brett’s sounding board. I get to hear the ideas, the plans, the wins, the frustrations, and sometimes the “I have an idea…” conversations that turn into something completely new. I love being able to support him and encourage him as he works to grow the business. It’s been extremely rewarding to have a front row seat from day one.

What has been the biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?

Honestly, when you’re building something from the ground up, everything feels like a challenge at first. 😂

In the beginning, every new hurdle felt like, “Okay… how are we going to figure this one out?” And then, little by little, you figure it out. You learn, you adjust, and you keep moving forward.

You don’t have to have it all figured out when you first start, you just have to be willing to learn, solve the next problem, and keep going.

Favorite way to spend a day off?
A perfect day is spent together outdoors watching our kids play, whether that’s the beach or just out in the country riding around or fishing.

Favorite snack/food?
Easy - chocolate chip cookies. They are my weakness!

Favorite book/movie?
Currently, I am loving Emma M Lyon. I love to read, so you can always find me reading something.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?
I wish I had the power to travel at warp speed so I didn’t have to spend so much time in the car!

ACH payments are completely FREE! You can select ACH as your payment method through your payment profile after logging in. Don’t want to use the portal? No problem! Give us a call at 229-300-8086, and we’ll be happy to set it up for you.

For a long time, we have absorbed the processing fees associated with credit card payments as a convenience to our customers. Beginning October 1st, the surcharge from our credit card processing company of 3% will be applied to credit card payments only. Please note that a fee is not charged on debit card payments.

We hope that offering a free ACH payment option will provide an easy way for our customers to continue making payments without having to pay a processing fee.
