That's a wrap on Steel & Steam 2026! Did anyone else make the trip this past weekend?

What a weekend for our neighbors down in Lebanon. The expanded event this year was something else — steam engine tours, the Willow Creek mini train, pedal-powered rail bike rides, and the Kids' Craft Caboose keeping the little ones busy. Nothing beats a community event that gets whole families outside together.

Speaking of outside: if the weekend got you looking at your own yard, we've got the soil, bark, and rock to get it back in top shape, plus a spot for whatever you're hauling out. Swing by Andresen Road.

City Bark & Recycling trucks will be on-site at the 33rd Annual Brooks Truck Show this Friday, August 21 and Saturday August 22, at Powerland Heritage Park in Brooks, OR. Come check out our fleet in person. Gates open at 10am, and Night Glow kicks off at 9pm.

Admission is $15 per day, kids 12 and under are free.

We spend our days around heavy equipment, so this one caught our eye. Steel & Steam is Saturday, August 29 in Lebanon, Oregon. Excavators and dump trucks open to climb into, heritage steam train rides, a big truck show, and food trucks.

Open 10 to 4, free admission. A good road trip from Clark County.
