Holiday cheer, homemade cookies, and a few very festive sweaters!

This week, our S&L Hospitality team gathered at the office to celebrate our 20th holiday party together the best way we know how - sharing a wonderful meal, swapping holiday cookies, and embracing the ugly sweater spirit. Moments like these remind us how grateful we are for the incredible people who make S&L Hospitality what it is.

As the year comes to a close, we want to wish our team members, guests, partners, vendors, friends, and families a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for being part of our journey - we’re excited for what’s ahead in the year to come.

Clarion Suites At The Alliant Energy Center of Madison, WI has been recognized with a prestigious 2024 Ring of Honor Award by Choice Hotels.

The designation is awarded to the top 1% of hotels within the brand, representing a tremendous accomplishment. As one of the top tier properties operating under the Clarion flag, this hotel has demonstrated an exceptional focus on guest satisfaction and dedication to superior service.

We’re excited to announce that we have added another property to our portfolio starting on March 26th! Earlier this week, we were unanimously selected by the city of Storm Lake, Iowa to take over management of King's Pointe Resort.

King’s Pointe Resort is a city-owned resort that features a hotel, cottages, indoor waterpark, outdoor waterpark, multiple food outlets, and a nine hole golf course. We can’t wait to make our impact felt at this amazing resort!

We can’t wait to work with the city of Storm Lake and King's Pointe Resort!

CITY SELECTS KING'S POINTE MANAGEMENT FIRM
The City of Storm Lake is pleased to welcome S&L Hospitality to provide management services for community-owned King's Pointe Resort. The city council approved the move Monday. Both city officials and S&L leaders expressed excitement for the working relationship, which takes effect March 26. The company is a leader in management of hotels, waterparks and hotel restaurants, with more than 20 years of experience in operations. S&L was selected from three companies that had applied for the role. It will replace Weigand-Omega. That company, which has provided management services for the resort since 2017, is assisting in a transition that is expected to be seamless, with no disruption of services, and retaining the current employees.

At the end of January, we hosted our annual GM Summit at the Fairfield Inn & Suites - Baraboo, WI! We had General Managers from four different states come for the conference to hear from peers, industry professionals, and vendors they frequently work with. It was a time for growth, innovation and collaboration among industry leaders. We are so thankful to have a great team at S&L Hospitality and can’t wait for what 2024 and beyond brings to our entire team!
