I was mic’d up at the NJC3 Monthly Coffee Meetup at JoyLeaf this past Tuesday and this is where I’m completely in my bag.

I’m proud to be a judge and Community Supporter for Best in Grass New Jersey 2026!

For years, I’ve believed the biggest misconception about this industry is that it’s only about “getting high”.

But the truth is, it’s about people.

It’s entrepreneurs taking risks. Patients finding relief. Educators creating pathways. Advocates fighting for progress. Business owners building opportunity. Communities coming together around a common purpose.

That’s why everything we do (from the New Jersey Cannabis Chamber of Commerce to Mudd Brothers and the Minority Cannabis Academy) is centered around bringing people together. Because the strongest brands don’t just sell products…they build trust, create opportunity and leave an impact.

Some victories take more than a vision…they take grit.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of celebrating the grand opening of Jane’s Joint Boutique Dispensary and what stood out most wasn’t just the beautiful space. It was the journey behind it.

To Trina and your entire team, congratulation. You navigated the delays, the uncertainty, the obstacles and the countless moments where it would’ve been easier to quit. Instead, you stayed the course and crossed the finish line.

That resilience is exactly what this industry needs.

On behalf of the New Jersey Cannabis Chamber, thank you for continuing to invest in New Jersey’s cannabis community and for proving that perseverance still wins.
