Join us for an adaptive basketball program designed for individuals with disabilities of all experience levels! This inclusive program is open to individuals with disabilities of all skill levels, whether you’re picking up a basketball for the first time or already love the game.

Participants will build basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork, and game play using adaptive equipment and modified rules as needed. Activities will be tailored to meet individual abilities, goals, and comfort levels, with an emphasis on participation, confidence, and success.

Beyond basketball skills, this program focuses on building confidence, staying active, and making friends.

All abilities welcome. No prior basketball experience required.

Celebrate National Autism Month with us on April 2nd, 6–7:30 PM at the East Suffolk Recreation Center! At our Sensory Necklace Program, participants will design and make one-of-a-kind sensory necklaces that are not only useful but also fun, engaging, and fidget-friendly. This hands-on program celebrates creativity, self-expression, and the importance of sensory tools in everyday life!
