It's Meet the Owner Monday! I'm Joe Fagan, the owner/operator. I'm as local as they come, a native North Forker from Jamesport. My father was a Detective Sergeant for Riverhead PD, and my mom grew up on a potato farm.

I graduated from Riverhead HS and received a degree from SUNY Alfred in motorsports technology. I've been wrenching since I was 16; it's still my passion. I still maintain my NYS inspection license. I ended up getting into pest control almost 10 years ago and ventured out on my own last summer.

I'm a NYS DEC-certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator and hold multiple categories to treat pests comprehensively. My company is also fully insured and a DEC-registered pesticide business. I strive to deliver affordable pest control for everyone that is pet and family safe.

Yesterday, I found these European Hornets that made their home in a birdhouse. These guys can be up to 1.5 inches long and are the only true hornet in North America. While not usually aggressive, they will defend their nest and food sources and can deliver a very painful sting.

A huge white-faced hornets nest treated and removed in Wading River today!

Hornets and Yellowjackets are still constructing their nests and are extremely active and aggressive at this time.
