Checkpoint EHR

Checkpoint EHR CheckpointEHR is a simply, 3-in-1 electronic health record solution for behavioral health therapists. In 2005, Integrity Support, Inc.

was founded by, Steve Blakeman, a 23 years experienced Licensed Psychological Associate. Recognizing the influence of internet business, along with Behavioral Health provider needs, Steve knew he must develop a cloud-based system. Steve partnered with Joe Murphy, an IT expert with 20 years experience including developing nation-wide billing systems. Together they developed the Electronic Health Re

cords (EHR) and automated billing system called Checkpoint. We find great joy in providing support for our individual and group providers - standing by our customers - regardless of changes in business processes, or industry "curve balls." Because people matter, a real person answers our phones. We are intentional about responding to emails, and willingly visit your office, as needed. Freeing your mind of clutter empowers you, the provider, to focus on what really matters - the needs of others. Our paperless system reduces precious time and costly errors. Our mission is to help you get paid for valuable time invested. Years of expertise ensure quick answers to questions about: billing, insurance, coding, diagnoses, and practice management. Checkpoint is known as one of the simplest most user-friendly EHR and automated billing systems accessible via any internet capable device on the market. Checkpoint includes such features as: Automated Billing, Payment Posting, Electronic Notes, Electronic Signatures, Outcome Measurements, Resource Library, Authorization Tracking, Required Action Alerts, Calendar, and Payroll. We are honored to share our refreshingly simple, cloud-based software, ultimately created for you, the behavioral health provider.

Medicaid appeals are one of the most overlooked opportunities to protect revenue—but most organizations don’t have a consistent or confident approach.

In this upcoming training, Knicole Emanuel will walk through:

When you should (and shouldn’t) appeal
What payers are actually looking for
How to improve your success rate

Most behavioral health EHRs weren’t built for the complex billing needs of Medicaid and private insurance, especially for scaling organizations.

And when your system isn’t aligned with how your practice actually operates, it shows up everywhere—slower workflows, billing issues, delayed reimbursement, and constant workarounds.

At Checkpoint EHR, we focus on what matters most: helping behavioral health agencies capture more revenue, get paid faster, and operate with confidence.

Because your EHR shouldn’t slow you down—it should be the infrastructure that supports your growth.

Running a behavioral health organization takes more than just the right system.

It takes the right partners.

That’s why we built the Checkpoint Vendor Directory—to make it easier to find trusted support across billing, consulting, operations, hiring, and more.

Because stronger partnerships lead to better outcomes.

If your organization got audited tomorrow… would you feel confident?

Most behavioral health providers don’t have a clear answer—and that’s where risk shows up.

We created a quick Audit Readiness Assessment to help you identify gaps in your documentation, billing, and compliance processes before they become real problems.

It takes just a few minutes—and gives you a clearer picture of where you stand.

Staying up to date on Medicaid isn't just a best practice.
It’s a requirement.

We’re seeing more behavioral health providers run into the same issues:

Missed policy changes → denied claims
Unclear requirements → compliance risk
Delayed awareness → revenue disruption

And the tough part? It’s usually not a process problem—it’s a visibility problem.

Medicaid is changing faster than ever, and most organizations don’t have a reliable way to track what actually matters to them.

We put together a breakdown of:
• Why staying current is getting harder
• Where providers are most exposed
• What it actually takes to stay ahead today

If Medicaid impacts your billing, operations, or compliance, this is worth a read:

👉

Medicaid requirements & legislature are changing every day. For behavioral health agencies accepting Medicaid, this is what you need to know.
