📢⛽ FUEL PUMP HANGER UPDATE ⛽📢

Going forward, the 3000GT/Stealth Stainless Steel Fuel Pump Hangers will be transitioning from PTFE-insulated wire to ETFE-insulated wire.

The cost of genuine PTFE wire has increased significantly, and continuing to use it would unnecessarily raise the price of the completed fuel pump hangers. Switching to ETFE allows us to maintain a high-quality, durable product without passing those additional costs on to our customers.

⚠️ To be clear: ETFE is not ordinary automotive wire, and this change is not a downgrade. ⚠️

The wire being used is SAE AS22759/16 mil-spec ETFE wire—a high-performance fluoropolymer-insulated wire commonly used in demanding aerospace, military, motorsports and industrial applications .

✅ 600-volt rating
✅ Temperature rating of -85°F to 302°F
✅ Excellent resistance to heat 🔥
✅ Excellent abrasion resistance 🛡️
✅ Resistant to hydrocarbons, oils and alcohols ⛽🛢️
✅ Mechanically tougher than PTFE insulation 💪
✅ Manufactured and tested to SAE AS22759 requirements 📋

🧪 Under the applicable AS22759 immersion testing requirements, the insulation must meet the following standards:

🔹 No more than a 5% increase in insulation diameter
🔹 No cracking after testing
🔹 No dielectric breakdown
🔹 Continued electrical insulation integrity ⚡

⛽ ETFE has excellent chemical resistance to hydrocarbons and alcohols found in gasoline and ethanol-blended fuels. The selected wire is suitable for the demanding environment inside our fuel pump hanger assemblies, including applications using gasoline, E85 and commonly used race fuels. 🏎️💨

🔩 The stainless steel hanger design is not changing.
⚡ The electrical operation is not changing.
📐 The fitment is not changing.
🔌 Only the wire-insulation material is being updated.

This change allows us to continue producing a reliable, high-quality fuel pump hanger without unnecessarily increasing the price due solely to the rising cost of PTFE wire. 👍🇺🇸

I have a couple fuel pump hangers back in stock. A few sold even before I got them completed.... I seem to not be able to keep them in stock very long.

Also note, I have been having issues getting the Gates E85 submersible hose. I'm not sure if Gates is starting to discontinue the product or if there is just a supply shortage. Prices company have for it now are 3x more than normal. I don't want to exclude it as many don't know the difference and then there are some companies (Evil Energy) selling supposed "Submersible" fuel line that actually turns into jelly after a few months... The Teflon wire I use for the in-tank portion has also had a massive 2x price increase. So I'm going to hold off the next batch of pumps hangers until I see what I going on with my vendors or if I can find replacements.

Knocking out the last of the pieces for another batch of shifter bushings. Should be listed on the site middle of next week.

I also have another batch of fuel pump hangers in the works dive that last batch sold out fast and some people were asking about them. These are a couple weeks out still.

Going to be some delays in the next batch of Shifter Bushing. Started having issues with the lathe that's making it impossible to to turn them the correct size. So waiting on the manufacturer to get back to me on repairs. This is the exact reason I don't do pre-orders or sell items that I don't have ready to go out the door. Hopefully this is a quick repair. 🤞
