Freedom Aviation

Freedom Aviation Focke Wulf 149D S/N 132 N132FW was designed and built in Bremen Germany, 1960. She is powered by a BMW Lycoming GO-480 BA1A6 which produces 285 horsepower.

She was used by the New German Luftwaffe for a training, liaison and general purpose aircraft. Capable of speeds upwards towards 180 knots sustained at ground level and is acrobatically rated +6, -3g. Standard cruise is 140 knots, stall at 55 knots and a VNE of 205 knots. She is a four place, dual stick platform, IFR capable with an excess of 600 miles range.
