A new chapter begins in Shadelands!

On April 29, 2026, we celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Meals on Wheels Diablo Region, now officially home at 390 N. Wiget Lane!

For 50+ years, MOWDR has been a lifeline for Contra Costa seniors, delivering meals, companionship, and care to thousands countywide. They do so much more than meals.

- Joybound Team Trivia Night
Wednesday, June 3, 6:30 PM
Test your smarts at Joybound’s Walnut Creek HQ for a monthly trivia showdown!

- California Adopt-a-Pet Day
Saturday, June 6, 11:00 AM
Find your new best friend at Joybound’s campus, 2890 Mitchell Drive. Adoption fees waived!

- Shadelands Classic Car Show
Sunday, June 7, 10 AM to 3 PM
Cruise over to Shadelands Ranch Museum, 2660 Ygnacio Valley Rd, for classic cars, live music, food, a raffle, and museum tours!

- Shadelands Ranch Museum Tours
Sundays & Wednesdays, 1 to 4 PM
