No update on auctions/sales yet, but I did want to reach out to everyone about our good buddy Rylan Ritz, that MANY of our auction customers have both harassed & been harassed by, as he is quite the character.

After responding to battle a brush fire last week with Needmore VFC, he fell asleep on his way home and had a pretty bad accident, which involved a 3-hour surgery where the doctor had to hand sew his colon & small intestine.

Here's the latest update from his mom, Wendy Ritz.

Update. I went and got Rylan at lunch time today. We are just getting home after getting all his care instructions and then getting things he needs. They felt that it is best for him to heal at home due to the amount of sickness at the hospital, and they are packed. With him eating normal, bland food and having bowel movements, this was an option. He cannot stay by himself. He can do minimal things, so we’ve fixed up a place for him in our living room. He has a sleuth of appointments coming up. The most concerning is the one with the neurologist. He did come home on seizure medicine. He needs to rest and focus on learning to care for himself. Now for those of you that know Rylan, you know how he likes to talk and visit with everyone. If you know, you know🙃☺️. He is missing that. He’s had his phone the last 3 days and can use it. Feel free to message him. If you want to visit him, please let me know esp through the day. Just a heads up, he does talk a little different right now. Tomorrow is his birthday, and he turns 22. If you would like to send him a card, our address is 1970 Lehman Rd, Warfordsburg PA 17267. Thank you! His needs beside what I listed is mostly communication so that he feels included. He is to be having Ensure apple juice clear and says he loves the grippy socks he had at the hospital. I feel like I brought home an old man when i added a walker & cane to his supplies. He also needs glasses which is being more of a problem than it should be. I do have an eye doctor calling me tomorrow. If anyone can come to the house and cut his hair, it would be appreciated. He can’t really sit and move well, so we will have to do it differently but it needs done. Thanks!

Specific prayer requests:
*They can figure out what is happening neurologically.
* he can start doing more self care with ease.
* incision healing
* no bowel obstruction
* and that we can all get some rest

For those of you working at hospitals, what is something that I can do for the staff of floor 3 for all they did for Rylan?

I just wanted to get on here and let our amazing customers know that we haven't went anywhere. We've just had one medical issue/battle after another the past 3 months, and it's hard to make a commitment a week out, when we don't know what that week will entail. We miss you all, and hope to get back at it as soon as possible.

So far, we have approximately 1,400+(yes 1,400) Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's items, & 500+ Costco items set up, and we still have smokers, heaters, Pet food & supplies, Home Depot, and BPS/Cabela's clothing still to put out. In total, there will be approximately 3,000 items for sale at 50%-70% OFF RETAIL.
