This is my very first worthy herkimer that I dug myself. This is the one that got me hooked. Large pieces are great, dont get me wrong, but I would take a perfect water clear any day. Just look at how incredible nature is. This was dug by myself from a few years back. Can you tell I'm pumped to get back out there? It's not obvious or anything.

Going into the summer we are changing our hours starting the first week of June.

Monday-Tuesday Closed
Wednesday-Saturday 10-5
Now open Sundays 11-4

This video was taken on Sunday from my hush place in Smithfield. Found some nice chunks of calcite and fluorite and even a tiny terminated piece of Amethyst.

Today's task is to find as much fluorescent material for tomorrow's UV shopping experience. I have to admit, there is so many cool cool things. Saturday the 16th from 3-6pm come enjoy this unique way of shopping under UV lights to see a whole different side of the crystal and mineral world. I recommend bringing a handheld light UV302 or 365 to have the best experience possible. I do have one of each in store if you need to barrow it.

Chasing paper trails are so important for old collection pieces. We picked up some really goodies.

Don't forget this Saturday is our UV shopping experience. I kept that in my while picking up new material. This particular barite is incredible under UV as it holding its glow after the light taken off called a phosphorescence. It will continue to glow for a decent amount of time which is really impressive to me.
