The prep that goes into getting the kids ready for college move in day is quite something!😮‍💨
As a boy mama who did this during Covid there was nothing that prepares you for the emotional roller coaster of feelings that comes with this moment🥹
From the college visits, to the excitement of finding out which school they’ll be attending to making lists, shopping, the packing and then D-day..the drop off 😮‍💨😭🤩😍🥹🥲🙂‍↕️🫠😭😭😭

So incredibly grateful to be given the opportunity as a professional organizer to help support other parents getting their children settled into their dorms.

Restoring harmony and helping our client preserve a beautiful legacy through an incredible collection of books in her home.
When our client reached out, she let me know that she was feeling overwhelmed trying to organize her late husband’s book collection, some stored in bins and others spread across the home.
She wanted to make sure she was being intentional with what books remained in the home especially for her son. Books that were special, books that one day their son who had recently moved to NY, could have in his own home library. A beautiful collection of books that both his parents loved and cherished including his own special collection from childhood to college😊

As a daughter of an author this was indeed a special project, so we rose to the occasion helping our client with decision making on what to declutter that didn’t belong, reorganized the books in the different room libraries and finished off with styling the bookshelves in a way that she loved and appreciated 🥳

Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves isn’t simply an organized home, it’s creating a home where memories are honored, legacy is preserved, and harmony is restored.
