Authors! Want to market your book, whether it's released or upcoming?
Every Wednesday, for the next 100 weeks, I will share 1 task for you to do. And a social post idea for you that you can post when that task is completed, with a caption that you can steal! Just copy/paste it from here, and maybe give it a tweak and make it your own!
And there's no task that you'll see here that will take more than a week. Even this first one - which is to build an Author Website.

Your author bio is more than an introโitโs your vibe and your pitch, and it needs to feel consistent everywhere.
Think Neil Gaiman: his bios are clever, mysterious, and totally him. Readers instantly know theyโre in for a ride. Now, imagine Sarah, a romance author, whose bio says, โSarah loves coffee and sunsets.โ Cute, but forgettable. What if she said, โI write love stories thatโll make you swoon, laugh, and maybe DM your ex at 2 AMโ? Instantly more memorable.
Your bio should:
Show off your personality.
Match your tone, everywhere.
Hook readers before they even meet your books.

When done, pop that on your website page alongside your image. Then head over to Canva and create a quick graphic with your shortest version of the bio and post that on your social. or b) take a screenshot of your website's 'about author' section, then post it alongside the caption you see on this post.
Keep it simple. Keep it moving. Do more. Iterate later.
