🚨Nova was LOST on May 29, 2026 in Yonkers, NY 10705 near Van Cortlandt Park Ave and Park Hill Road.

💬 Owner's Message: "Hi guys! 'm a Westchester resident, fighting for answers.

I live in Yonkers, New York, in the Westchester area, and I'm home for the summer. The unthinkable happened - my dog got loose, and I haven't been able to locate her since around 12:00 AM on 5/29.

Her name is Nova. She is a female husky with blue eyes and was wearing a red collar. She is also microchipped. Anyone who lives in Westchester, please keep an eye out for her.

She was last seen in Yonkers around Spruce Street, as well as near ShopRite going up Riverdale Avenue. It is very likely that Nova is still in Yonkers, but she may have traveled toward Hastings or nearby areas.

My mom survived breast cancer and thyroid cancer… and now she’s fighting to protect the salon she built from the ground up.

This isn’t just “business drama” to us. This is my mother’s name, her reputation, and everything she’s worked for being dragged through.

Latisha Gant () is a Master Colorist/Stylist who has been through more than most people will ever see. Since I was 14 years old (I’m 26 now), I’ve watched her rebuild her life over and over and still show up for her craft every single time.

She was let go from La Jolie the day before Christmas after it became known she was opening her own salon with someone she trusted. Despite that, she still kept going and created Rootz Salon in Norwalk.

On May 4th, we came back to the salon and the locks had been changed. Leading up to that, there were already serious issues and tension behind the scenes that left my mom completely blindsided.

What’s being said about her right now does not reflect who she is or what she’s contributed. My mom has always put her time, energy, and money into everything she builds and has never been someone to just take from others.

We just want clarity, accountability, and the truth.

Here’s where you’re wrong:

Wig caps LITERALLY prevent you from being a bald bad bih with no edges

💎 A bald cap makes the wig look like it’s growing out of your scalp instead of just sitting on top of your hair. The lace melts way better when the surface underneath is smooth and flat.

💎 It protects your real hair underneath. Your braids stay tucked, your edges get less friction, and there’s less rubbing from glue, spray, or the wig cap itself.

💎 Your installs last longer. A good bald cap foundation helps the glue grip better, so the lace is less likely to lift fast around the forehead or ears.

💎 It helps hide bulky braids and bumps. Without a bald cap, thicker hair can make the wig look uneven or “helmet-like,” especially with HD lace.
