Today, two of our investigators filmed robbers fleeing a retail store with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. One of our investigators photographed the license plate of the getaway car. Which is critical to the three criminals arrest.

We always tell our clients that Stalkers, even those that are innocent in appearance should be taken seriously. They never stop unless confronted.

Four detectives and a deputy sheriff were shot in the incident, according to York County District Attorney Timothy Barker. Three of the detectives died.

It is your most important job! Know what your kids are doing online. We see the results of parents ignoring what and who their kids are chatting with online every week. Before your kids even have a social media account, lock the phone down. Don’t allow them to add apps, don’t let them turn off location services, use Screen time and other apps to control when they are onand who and how they communicate online.

A Silver Spring, Maryland, man faces up to 60 years in prison after he admitted using “sextortion” against as many as 108 young girls online.

Today was a tough day at Capitol Inquiry. A colleague's daughter went missing. We went to help. Fortunately the mom was on the job. She had passwords and restrictions on the phone. She filed a police report, gave the police her account information. The police were quickly able to ping the phone. In addition the mom logged in to Icloud and was able to ping the phone. The chase was on for a while. In the end the daughter was picked up safe.

Always manage your teens phone.

Set restrictions that prevent the child from turning off locations services.
Think about blocking inappropriate apps.

Control their Icloud account so they can't reset their phone.

Pay attention to your teen.

If your significant other accuses you of cheating, and your not, then you can bet they are! We see this all the time. The accuser wants to feel better about their actions so they accuse the spouse of cheating to make themselves feel justified for their own infidelity.

Recently one of our investigators had a video camera setup in a vehicle recording the coming and going of the subject of our investigation. The microphone was recording sound inside the vehicle. Normally sound would be off. In this case he recorded the sounds of gunshots. The timing and number of shots indicated that the shooting was intentional and methodical, the assailant was taking his time between shots. We provided our recording to the police, which they used to identify the time of the shooting and adjust the charges for the defendant.

NEVER underestimate stalkers. This is what we tell our clients. Stalkers almost never stop unless caught. But as in this case being charged with stalking was not enough!

A Virginia man pleaded guilty to setting fire to the cars and home of the parents of a woman he had previously been convicted of stalking.
