We are honored to share that My Fairy GodParents (MFGP) has been selected to present at the 8th Annual Children of Incarcerated Parents National Conference at Arizona State University.

Their workshop, “Trust Isn’t Protection: What Caregivers Need to Know About Raising Children Through Parental Incarceration,” will bring real voices to a national stage. This is a unique opportunity to share the lived experiences of a caregiver advocate, a formerly incarcerated father, a youth author, and a dedicated community volunteer.

This conference gathers researchers, policymakers, and advocates from across the country, and it’s crucial that families impacted by incarceration are represented authentically. However, this opportunity requires additional funding beyond our current program budget.

MFGP is raising funds to cover airfare, hotel, transportation, registration, materials, and volunteer stipends.
