The Millionaire’s Mind🥸

You can never become what you despise.
Many of us want to be millionaires or billionaires as entrepreneurs, yet we secretly hate successful people. We feel they stole our Ideas or believe that all rich people are greedy and bad. Some even go as far as wishing to destroy their names or properties. But here’s the question if you hate what you desire to become, how then do you believe you can ever be a millionaire?
We must change our mindset.

If you listen to podcasts about competitors, you’ll notice they are not enemies some even collaborate. But here you are, struggling with a small POS business like mine, and you hate others who are more successful. how then can you grow with such a heart of Hatred, Jealousy and Bitterness It’s impossible.

Look at China 🇨🇳 as a nation, they didn’t hate the United States or other developed countries. If they did, they would never have become great. Instead, they studied the U.S or third world countries model of businesses , learned from it, and built their own greatness.

There is a natural law:
👉🏽 If you want to live well, admire those who live well.
👉🏽 If you want to be rich, love rich people.
👉🏽 If you want to be successful, celebrate successful people and nature has a way of bringing what you love closer to you.

Study or Business you’ll see that people study others’ models and build their own. But if you’re blinded by the false doctrine that “rich people are evil,” how can you ever rise among them?

Remember: Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

Train Up a Child.
I remember about 25 -30years ago, many of my mates were still in primary school. Our parents had just moved from the Stone Age mindset into the Industrial Age. Back then, the world needed a lot of manpower. We were taught to study hard, get good grades, and prepare for a white-collar job.
Many of us had beautiful dreams to become doctors, pilots, or even airplane engineers. But the truth is, it was already game over for us. The world had shifted from the Industrial Age to the Information Age, while our school systems were still busy producing students for industries that no longer existed. Even if it existed not in Nigeria.

Look around where are the functional industries in Nigeria today?
Do we talk about Nigeria refineries that only work on paper, or the Ajaokuta Steel Company that has never truly operated?

It was a druged and cooked up narrative and many of our parents fall for it we never learned any real skill or handwork. Our parents were too focused on preparing us for an Industrial Age that had already passed. Now we have the massive population, millions of graduates every year and still no jobs or new industries.

Today, we’re moving from the Information Age into the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and many of us who missed the earlier transition are now in our 30s and 40s with unfulfilled dreams and failed strategies.

Yet, we are still not teaching or preparing the next generation to avoid the same mistakes. Our school curriculum still reflects an Industrial Age mindset even though that era ended decades ago.

So, the question is: Who will teach and prepare the next African generation?

This should be our reflection and our wake-up call. If you think Africa’s progress is not your concern, wait until your children inherit loans upon loans, debts upon debts, and history repeats itself just like the slave trade in another form.

Africa must learn. 🥺

How Far Do You See Yourself?
A lot of us want to become billionaires. We go to church, mosque, and different gatherings we even join the yet we still apply the wrong mindset.

As entrepreneurs, we must understand how money truly works.
God cannot be mocked, Gal: 6vs7 “Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap. He’s not an unjust God who blesses some people with wealth and keeps others poor. The truth is, it is the applied and up-date knowledge that turns people into millionaires and billionaires not just prayers or Magic.

Billionaires understand the value of ⏰ Time management📊 Record keeping📦 Stocking and inventory management💰 Wise money usage👥 Controlling who they spend time with.

You say you want to be the next African billionaire, yet you don’t even know the list of billionaires in Africa or what industries they dominate. You don’t study their moves or understand their mindset how then will you grow?
Misplaced priorities in Africa 😳
It’s like wanting to be a great fighter but befriending a TV show presenter, or wanting to be a footballer while surrounding yourself with academicians. You’re simply not with the right team📌
You might have a good plan, but without the right people around you, it won’t materialize. Remember, iron sharpens iron.

Ask yourself as an entrepreneur:
What do i feed my mind with, Do i sit all day and watch BBN or Trending Stories and still say i want to be the Africa’s next Dangote in Sector or ? Do i listen to all random songs and Drama 🎭 that feel good to my emotion and i want be the next musk in or .

Feed your focus.
It will be too late to cry when the head is off
Decide today, Am an entrepreneur on the journey not by name but one who will bring development to African.

Someone asked me today:

“What’s the real difference between Africa and the West?”

And I said Intelligence. (Information)

That’s also the difference between a poor man and a rich man.

It’s not about resources it’s about

understanding what to do with them.

If the West didn’t discover that oil could power engines, oil would just be black liquid in the belle of African and Asian lands

What about cocoa that could be turned into chocolate or Bonvita, that tree would just be another wild plant.

And aluminum, would remain an ordinary rock.

Every resource remains useless until intelligence

gives it purpose.

Now think about it 👇

The difference between developed and developing nations is not luck

it’s information intelligence.

The difference between their military and Africas is intelligence.

The difference between their economy and ours is intelligence. (They know how to borrow unlimited and predict their stock)

That’s how the world is built
the more knowledge you apply, the stronger your system becomes.

But Africa keeps blaming the world.

We say, “They stole our resources.”

Yes, maybe. But the truth is, they discovered value in things we ignored.

Even the systems Africa run today our languages,
borders, governments, constitutions, and police

- all came from their design. (Shamefully so)

They built the structure, handed it over, and said:

“You can now rule yourselves.”

And we’ve been struggling ever since

not because Africa lack resources, but because it lacks the intelligence to sustain what they inherited.

It is almost impossible to keep an African leader

from president to local government councillor

in office for one full year without

mismanagement of funds, corruption, poor record-keeping, and lack of proper planning.

So the real issue is not color or culture.

It’s the system of thinking.
It’s mindset.
It’s how we use information.

Until Africa upgrades its intelligence,
no amount of natural resources will save us.

The Banking Industry Revolution 💳🚀

Who are real entrepreneurs?
They are not the ones who read all the books but never take action. 🤣
They are the ones who see a need and meet that need.

Let’s quickly look at the banking industry revolution 👇
Before now, to visit a bank you had to wake up as early as 4AM just to meet up with banks that opened by 9 or 10. Even then, you’d still meet huge crowds of people fainting and rushing to hospitals from the stress of standing, peope were frustrated.

Entrepreneurs saw the problem and changed the game. 💡
Licenses were given to MMOs who introduced POS systems. Suddenly, banking moved down to the grassroots. Villages and towns could access banking without stress. ATM cards, mobile banking, and POS agents turned the industry around creating business opportunities for thousands of other entrepreneurs.

Then came money transfer services like OPay and others, which radically reshaped the way we do business in Nigeria.

Today, kudos to those entrepreneurs who made such bold moves. In Nigeria, with our massive population, if you create a product and just 1 million people use it you’re already a billionaire. That’s why investors are rushing to Africa. 🌍💰

As for me it’s morning, and I’m off to my POS shop. Because all talk and no hustle? Hunger go finish person. 🤪

Have a great day, fam. 🙌

Light Wahala in Edo ⚡

I have a friend who happens to be the coordinator of electricity in Akoko Edo. One day I asked him, You’ve been very busy with this light issue what’s the way out?

He smiled and said, “This light matter is spiritual. After solving one problem this week, another one shows up next week. After collects bills, we still return to darkness.”

I laughed, because the truth is these are the “normal routes” when they’re not making millions from our area or local government.

But here’s what I believe And as entrepreneurs, we must learn to see them.

I remember when used to be our biggest problem. Today, almost every household has a borehole thanks not to the government, but to entrepreneurs who took the challenge and provided cheaper borehole services.

Electricity was once a major barrier. Now, many families have solar panels even small ones for radio and bulbs in remote villages that never dreamt of having electricity. Farmers who needed power bank to charge their phones or hear news in the farm now have power banks for rent has low has 200 # per day to charger their phones.

That’s why I say entrepreneurs make the world easier to live in. If we leave everything to government, there will be no real progress.

Thanks to , , , and others who from different sectors are transforming Africa and the world at large to be a better place.

Kudos to my mentors. 🙌
We are watching. We are learning.

Recently, I’ve been trying to look deeper into what we have in Akoko Edo. I went to Ojirame Dam, and a question crossed my mind apart from drinking water supply or future electricity generation, what else can this water do for us?

Then it hit me why not fish farming? Imagine us rearing fish there. It will boost the economy of Akoko Edo, Edo State, and even Nigeria.

But here’s the problem: we complain every day that Nigeria is 65 years old and Tinubu is not doing enough. Okay, I agreed you. But let me ask how are you contributing to the GDP of Nigeria? Many just wake up looking for “where it is happening” without asking, what can I do to add value? Alot of us scrow though out the day from WhatsApp to facebook, to tiktok to instagram etc. without even Adding Value to them self or environment.

Less discuss (you criticize) have you ever lead a class group successfully? A small political group? Or even managed a ₦2 million business and kept it running for 4 years?
If yes we need not to forget in a hurry that it was not the US politicians that built American 🇺🇸
Pls Read/watch 🇺🇸

I’m not a politician, and I don’t belong to any political party. But let’s be honest Nigeria is our home. We can’t compare a 65-year-old Nigeria to a 250-year-old USA. Some might say other African is doing better but we are on growth process and That doesn’t mean I support corruption or stealing public funds. But the question still stands what role are you playing in the growth of Nigeria Economy?

We have Mineral Resources.
We have fresh water for Fish Farming.
We have land for Agricultural farming.
So I ask again what are and doing with these resources?

What Is in Your Hand? A call for resourceful thinking 🤔

We have a saying that said: “when you climb one palm tree you see the next ripe one”
The meaning is simple you must make use of what is already in your hands to discover the next opportunity.

Why am I saying this?
In my hometown, Akoko-Edo LGA, Edo State, is a land Richly Blessed with large deposits of limestone and many other natural resources but we do not look into them much. And when you list out their uses in society or commercial industries you will realize how much Akoko-Edo is richly blessed.

But here is the challenge who will teach our people to see the opportunities hidden in these resources?
Many of us could be sitting on billion dollar businesses right in our homes, but lack of education and the right knowledge keeps us from taking action.

Who will teach us how to explore our , , , , , ore and other precious minerals We complain about lack of jobs, but what are we really doing with what God has given to us?

If I were to list all the natural resources and the products that could be made from them, we would clearly see that God has blessed Akoko-Edo beyond measure. Yet, a lack of education and guidance has stopped us from turning Akoko-Edo into an industrial hub and a center for business development and attraction.

Oh, -Edo, who will teach us to value what we have and put aside our differences for the sake of growth?

I have a good friend who sells cars, car parts, and also gives out cars for daily hire.

One faithful day, I was in his office when one of the drivers returned the car key and money for the day. During our discussion, I asked him:
“Why not get this car on a balance-and-carry plan and have it for yourself?”

He looked at me and said:
“Oga please, I don’t want wahala o. I don’t want to owe anybody. I like my freedom the way it is. I like my ₦5k daily chop money.

I shook my head and thought no amount of formal education can change such a mindset.

For years, we’ve been conditioned to fear , risk, it safe, and simply hope that “ will do it.” But how do I explain to him what he stands to gain by owning that car?
🚗 Freedom - the ability to use the car any time, for business or emergencies.
🏠 Ownership – the pride of calling something your own.
🙏 Convenience – being able to take his family to church on Sunday without stress.
💼 Opportunity – being a boss of his own, building something that lasts.

It made me realize how much we have to learn, unlearn, and relearn in Africa.

But who will teach these things?

This is why I keep posting. I’m not looking for a million followers or to go viral. My message is for the right person someone whose mindset might be the seed that grows into the next African billionaire, or the genius who turns Africa into a global commercial hub.

That is my mission.

My name is AKANDE KOLA BOSS, and I am a voice for the African people. 🥺🔥🌍

Yesterday (Saturday), I met two boys, about 10–14 years old, selling groundnuts. I called them over to patronize them, and as we talked, I shared with them that I once sold groundnuts too about 20 years ago. I also sold pure water, plantain chips, butter pear 🍐, ice cream, and more.
I encouraged them not to despise the days of small beginnings.
Honestly, business runs in my blood my great-grandmother was a trader, my grandmother was a trader, and my mother is a trader. I’ve been surrounded by businesswomen all my life. Over the years, I’ve learned, unlearned, and relearned countless lessons.
With all those years of experience passed down from my grandparents, you could say I carry over 100 years of business wisdom. I may not have reached the peak of where I want to be, but I’ve never stopped learning because the world keeps evolving. 🌍
My advice to young entrepreneurs:
📚 Keep learning from books, podcasts, and your environment.
⏳ Avoid procrastination it’s a silent dream killer.
💪 Don’t be afraid to try. Failure only makes you stronger and gives you new experience.
👀 Open your eyes to the needs around you, meet them, and watch as money starts chasing after you.
Every day is a blessing make it count and make it worthy.

Yesterday, I went back to my grandparents house the place I grew up.
We left years ago after moving into our new house 🏡, so going back felt a bit strange.
While I was there, I noticed that most of the neighbors and even some family friends didn’t recognize me anymore. It really hit me that one day, when the last person who knows me is gone, everything about me will just be a story.
All the things we work so hard for houses, businesses, investments e.t.c will eventually end up with people who don’t even know us.
It made me realize how short and temporary life is. I do believe in science 🧬 that maybe one day there will be a solution to mortality. But for now, I can’t help but ask myself:
What’s the real purpose or meaning of human existence?
Why are we here?

TRENDINGS 🚀
Farming isn’t just business it’s a legacy we can’t ignore.
Many of us (including myself) love jumping into trending businesses and investments. Once we hear “Bitcoin is hitting $200k” or Forex is booming we rush to put all our money in even to a point of borrowing from the bank 🏦 or Family Members. That’s why every scam that enters Nigeria catches us off guard. The truth is, most of us still carry the “quick money” mindset, AKA sharp sharp.
Just the other day i called my friend from the Northern part of Nigeria who told me about Rice investment and i ask when will your rice be ready? he said he was expecting 1,200–1,500 bags of rice. I was shocked 😳 until he started flooding my DM with pictures and videos. When I saw how much he stood to earn I said to myself No wonder rich people quietly invest in agriculture without making noise. Even is into agriculture 🌾.
The reality is this: there’s money in AgriTech and Food is a daily nessesity and the demand is much and as a country we don’t even produce enough.
So ask yourself: Must i go into , , or ?
What works for Mr. A may not work for Mr. B. And truth be told, scams are everywhere.
👉 Don’t judge a book by its cover.
👉 Don’t chase only “trends.”
👉 Look deeper.
Like says: “You will learn the hard way.”
