Ira C Kaplan is a lawyer in the State of New Jersey also licensed to practice law in the States of New York and Florida. Amy Weber hired Kaplan on or about March 2005 as professional licensed Counsel in Hackensack New Jersey Bergen County to mediate legal separation with her then domestic abuser with extensive well documented valid police reports, hospital reports and credible witnesses, Keith Yonos biological father of Amy’s son Alexander then fourteen (14) months old. Ira Kaplan committed infinite unethical professional and personal behaviors by extending the legal separation involving “child custody” for over two years fueling more domestic violence endangering Amy and her minor son at levels of being severely harmed or murdered both Mother and Son.
When AMY WEBER consulted with Ira C. Kaplan, in his office located in Hackensack, NJ Amy went alone. Amy explained to Kaplan her marital danger, horrific chaos of living under the same roof with her “husband” Keith Yonos. Amy hired Ira C. Kaplan with a retainer of $2,000.00 US dollars, paid in CASH. Ira seemed very nice, positive, charming, listening , confident to help mediate a “divorce” very much wanted by Amy. Amy had interviewed with two other lawyers in the area since she was eight months pregnant and right after giving birth to her son Alexander about one moth old. Amy looked up on the yellow pages for a good non problematic “matrimonial “ mediator legal separation attorney where she found Ira Kaplan. Gina Cassa, Amy’s at the time next door neighbor resident of wall attached unit A of her Condo. Gina knowingly the abuse Amy was enduring offer her to take her to a great lawyer she had been referred as she was also having with her then partner Steven Carlluci. Amy went with Gina when Amy’s son Alexander was one month old. Amy found the attorney also named Amy in Hackensack very aggressive and willing to enter into a “big fight to destroy her husband and give her all she wanted and deserved and leave that guy in the streets” - not what Amy wanted. Clearly that was not her choice of attorney.
Gina, was constantly pushing Amy to file for divorce and leave Keith. Amy found this issue odd as Amy was not really friends with her other than cordial and friendly next door neighbor. Amy then started to look into Gina closely to find out what was going on. This particular chapter will be discuss later on.
On or about November 2004 Amy first time interviewed with a lawyer seeking legal marital separation in Hackensack, NJ was also a female kind lady. Her recommendations were to fist give birth to her child as Amy was eight months pregnant and it problems persist to come see her “next year because women are so vulnerable and marriages fixes itself after the woman is no longer under pregnancy hormones”. Amy was perplex as she told her she was recently attacked while sleeping in her bed about 9 pm by her “husband” under substance abuse that appeared more than just alcohol. Amy didn’t know what was Keith doing but he was erratic breaking things in the house and while attacking her and almost strangled her with one of his ties. Amy had a Fairview Police report signed by a police Albert Napolitano. Amy asked her if this evidence was not enough for Amy go before a Judge other than Fairview municipal Judge that had believed Amy even when Keith twisted the story about the incident. Keith also obtained a restraining order as the cops in Fairview gave him the idea, now you ask for a retarininh order for yourself to help you defend yourself before any judge. Keith told this to Amy laughing threatening Amy to a field trip marriage or civil union whatever they had because he just found out how the twown rolls favoring men.
Ira Kaplan deceived Amy by pretending to be a “collaborative amicably final separation with a written document of each parting ways in a civil matter, each party take their own debts agreed on parenting their son Alexander in a peaceful way avoiding a trinché”. Ira Kaplan convinced Amy he was the right lawyer to help her obtain her wishes of separation of Keith Yonos guaranteeing no battleground for the contrary he stated that’s how he conducts “divorces”. Ira Kaplan asked Amy to send him via email her marriage license so when her then “husband” meets with him he is prepared to start discussing the divorce process. Amy immediately told Kaplan she and her “husband” never obtained a marriage license. She had a formal ceremony oversees without signing any legal marriage license document as they never went to the court house or any government institution to obtain a marriage license neither in Dominican Republic or United States of America. During the ceremony with her family and her closed friends and Yonos’ six (6) family member in attendance as the tradicional cultural ceremony the couple and chosen witnesses sign a paper promising to love each other unconditionally and verses supporting the act of union- symbolic purpose. A spiritual event followed with a party. That document Amy kept it as memory. Amy and Keith were very aware of they had no marriage license decided to eventually obtain a valid marriage license in the United States of America to formalize the “marriage” with a party for their friends and family that didn’t attend their ceremony overseas, - the legal paper the real marriage. Amy and Keith started facing real red flags problems as a couple in New York while residing together. Both decided not to obtain the marriage license until they felt sure about their future as a couple. It was in mutual agreement. Amy and Keith, both, knew the paper they signed was not a valid nor a marriage license -repeating this issue because here starts the fraud. It was never registered in the Dominican Republic where they symbolically wedded. In other words legally Amy and Keith were NOT married but in a civil union. They were fine with that.
