Plantmemorialtree.com - Plant a Tree for Someone Plant a tree in memory in our National Forest It is truly the thought that moves us. I believe PlantMemorialTree.com serves this purpose.

History
After many years of working in the flower industry (I held senior positions for FTD, 1-800 Flowers & Blooms Today) I continually reminded my staff that we were not in “the flower business”, but rather we were in the business of thoughtfulness. We help people express thoughtfulness, whether for sympathy, celebration or just because, it is the thought that we are entrusted to deliver. Yes, a

beautiful bouquet can express volumes but it is those words inscribed on a card, “I'm so sorry for your loss”, “I have such wonderful memories of Uncle Jim”, “Congratulations on your twin bundles of joy!” that last longer in our memories than flowers ever could. It is what is written that moves us and it is those cards that are frequently kept where we can see them over and over again to comfort, heal and cherish. With this in mind I decided that though sending flowers is a timeless and beautiful tradition, I knew from experience that our customers wanted to express sentiments with something that would not only be a fitting tribute but would also give back to our environment. My passion is to help you express your thoughts in a unique and thoughtful way. The more people I can help express themselves, the greener and better this world becomes
Today
We operate out of a modest office in Haymarket VA a suburb located approximately 25 miles west of Washington DC. Our staff is minimal, but not at the expense of customer service. We promote workplace/homelife balance and encourage our staff to get out and enjoy the beautiful mountains and forests of the Blue Ridge and surrounding areas. Our days are spent serving our customers and developing ways to simplify and enhance your experience. We continue to develop relationships with reforestation partners like the National Forest Foundation to maximize your contributions for a greener world. Please feel free to download a copy of “I'm so sorry for your loss.” Here you'll find ideas on how to write sympathy notes and how to help during the grieving process. Thank you for stopping by and I hope we will earn the privilege to serve you.

"I was on my way to the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the fall colors when I saw this scene in Cherokee , and I knew I had to stop. The fall reflections were breathtaking, and I just knew I had to try and capture them."

Took a great hike to the top of viejas mountain, rocky, steep and very few trees (hopefully we can change that). Great views of Alpine and San Diego. Anyone else ever hiked this trail? It’s a challenge for sure!
