July is and the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Disability is broader than most people assume. It can be visible, invisible, physical, mental, or psychological. And 25% of American adults have a condition that is considered a disability. Unfortunately, barriers to this community still exist.

Where are you located? The ACLU has a tool that shows you the anti-LGBTQIA2S+ bills in each state. Call your legislators and take action to support LGBTQIA2S+ communities.

In the last few years states have advanced a record number of bills that attack LGBTQ rights, especially transgender youth. The ACLU is tracking these attacks and working with our national network of affiliates to support LGBTQ people everywhere.
