If you want to create financial and time freedom, you have to understand and pursue leverage.

Going from Fit Pro to the actual CEO of your business is one of the best opportunities to use multiple forms of leverage (capital, people, media, Saas).

It is one of the best ways to create wealth, and it is done by building equity and not just exchanging your labor for money.

It provides a vehicle to go from self-employed, a job you own, to an investor.

The bottom line is that the real opportunity in your business isn’t discovering the latest marketing silver bullet. It is developing the skills, strategies, and operating systems that allow you to transform from a fit pro to a CEO who leads a business or businesses that can run without you.

Keep your eye on the right prize and avoid the noise of “marketing secrets.” Yes, marketing is essential, but it's like telling a client to do cardio to lose weight while ignoring resistance training and nutrition.

You can’t out-train poor nutrition.

You can’t out-market poor leadership, client retention, and employee retention.

First, understand the difference between Strategic and Tactical Marketing. The distinction is huge!

Often, gurus will suck you in with the tactics. The new tools, funnels, channels, DM, cold email or call scripts, done-for-you social post or ads (worst idea ever & big mistake) etc. In other words, tactical marketing is the medium your message is delivered in.

Strategic Marketing has to do with what you say, how you say it, who you say it to and when you say it. It’s the content of the message and it’s strategic intent.

Most fail because they focus on the tactical marketing while putting little thought into the strategic. When you do the latter all your marketing works better. When done right it delivers pre-sold and ready to buy prospects. Not cold leads that don’t return calls or text.

What your strategic marketing is suppose to do:

1) Capture the attention of the target market.

2) Facilitate the prospects information gathering & decision making process.

3) Lower the risk of taking the next step.

Human nature demands that we make the best decision possible. Buyers want to have the unshakable confidence they made the right choice.
