Now Enrolling: Creative Studio; Art Foundations, Volume 1

We’re excited to host a second round of our Creative Studio: Art Foundations, Volume 1 class on Saturday mornings this November!

This class offers your loved one the opportunity to explore art in a small-group setting led by a certified occupational therapist. Through meaningful, creative experiences, we focus on building confidence, encouraging self-expression, and developing foundational skills in a supportive environment.

Taylor will use evidence-based occupational therapy approaches to teach functional drawing skills while adapting commonly used art materials and techniques to make the creative process accessible for every learner.

We intentionally keep this class small to ensure each participant receives individualized support, meaningful therapeutic opportunities, and the space to explore their creativity at their own pace.

What would it look like if inclusion wasn’t the exception, but simply the way we do things?

We’re sharing All of Us, a documentary that explores what’s possible when schools embrace educating children together, regardless of disability or support needs.

At Orchid & Ivy, we believe every individual deserves opportunities to learn, connect, participate, and belong. Inclusion is about more than being in the same room, it’s about creating environments where people are supported, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.

This film is an invitation to reflect, challenge what we think is possible, and imagine what our schools and communities could become when we build them with ALL of us in mind.

Really exciting news! Orchid and Ivy is going to be hosting its first ever Empowerment Event this spring with a local community partner in Waukesha - Growing Together Family Summit.

We’re starting our process now to gather experts and community members who are all about supporting families of children and adults with disabilities. Do you have expertise, strategies, or encouragement to share? Do you have a topic that you feel could enhance the education, lives, and advocacy of parents to neurodiverse children? We want to hear your ideas.
